Hello, and question -Feminine signs

I wanted to say "hi" to everyone - I've been lurking off and on for a while now...trying to learn.
I have just realized tonight while reading along, that it seems that almost everything in my chart is (I think) considered a feminine sign, with the exception of Merc & Sun in Leo...Is this of any significance? I am female.
I have:
1st house moon/nn taurus
4th house ven/mars/jup/pt of for cancer
4th house merc leo
5th house sun leo5th house plut/uran virgo
7th house nept scorpio
12th house sat/chiron pisces

Thanks in advance for anyone who has the time - you are all awesome in the generousity of your know-how and time!

hi there!
First of all you did nothing wrong!!! Secondly feminine signs are not feminine. These signs are passive that is your planets function in an introvert kind of way. That doesn;t make you introverted. It makes you a person that takes her time.... Being female with planets in passive signs is sth good in my book...
You have sextile formations which translates as opportunities in many areas of your life. That's good ok but with all passive signs you might not be taking advandage of them....not good! and one of the reasons why is the fact that your Sun/Mercury are placed in an active sign.Your Sun forms either squares or quinquxes with passive signs, that is difficulties and restraints.
I think that you are very timid inside allthough your fiery Sun in a fiery house yields quite the opposite!

Re: Hello, and question -Feminine signs

Thanks to both of you for helping me understand this -

And I think that that makes perfect sense to me also. I do tend to mull things over internally, not really one to jump to snap decisions or conclusions regarding either people or problems or circumstances. Sometimes a good trait, sometimes maybe not.

Funny though, when I was younger it was not so much so! I guess patience has come to me with age and learning!

Re: Hello, and question -Feminine signs

Thank you Shining Ray, for that piece too.

I think my biggest problem in getting a firm grasp on astrology in general, is that there are so many different "schools of thought" or perspectives, what-have-you. And they all make sense in their own way, yet often contradict each other.

Kind of makes your head swim...or mine anyway - a lot of people here seem to grasp it a whole lot better than I do!

Thanks again!

[QUOTE=cclawson] And they all make sense in their own way, yet often contradict each other.

Hi there again
it's exactly that: two things opposite and contradictory(theories, sexes, signs) that fill/feel each other up. 1+(-1)=0

cheers

Shiningray I''ll sure read the article and share some thoughts but now I'm on the run(laundry is waiting )

Re: Hello, and question -Feminine signs

I am thinking I may have to go backwards to go forwards, if that makes any sense....

I am going to look into some books about Nostradamus (I think I may actually already have some, somewhere) and William Lilly and work my way to the present day astrologers. Maybe it will all be clearer to me then.

So many people seem to look at what looks like a plate of spaghetti to me and make quick sense of it, and it's a painstakingly slow process for me, since I seem to only see one line (aspect?) at a time. They rattle off - "Well, you have this here and that over there and they make this pattern, and that usually means this" and I have to stop and say ok, that's the little circle with the plus sign, and that's the circle with the plus sign plus horns
