Smile Very worried - should I be?

Hi to Everybody

My questions pertains to debt collectors and whether they can send in bailiffs to seize my goods.

This all relates to a student loan I took out whilst at university over 12 years ago. Apparently if the student loan company haven't been in touch with you for 6 years, the loan is 'statute barred' ie un-enforcable. However, if they have a judgement against you, that is - they have approached the courts in the past and have a court summons against you, they can send in bailiffs to take your goods. I'm now 52 and had to give my job up in Feb this year due to stress and depression and am very worried in case they can do this.

The student loan company have passed the debt over to debt collectors (they normally do this when they've given up on it but one can't be certain) who have been phoning me all last week leaving messages to contact them urgently and then I received a letter 3 days ago threatening action (they didn't say what) if I didn't pay. The advice I have been given by consumer groups is that they will use scare tactics and to not have any contact by phone with them as once you acknowledge the debt, it can be enforced and apparently, this particular debt collecting company use extremely threatening bullying tactics to get you to pay up.

My problem is, I don't know if the student loan company have a court judgement against me. I seem to remember them saying they did have but it would have shown up on my credit file and it never has. Also, other people have said that they lie and tell you they have when they haven't

So my question is: Do they have a court judgement against me? I asked this question at 4.37 am on 9th December at Liverpool, England.

I have taken the 7th house - house of open enemies to represent the debt collectors/student loan company and this house is rules by Venus which is in the 12th house. I'm not sure whether to take this as their having no power or their activities being hidden. I'm represented by Mars in this chart which is in the 8th house and in its fall! However, it is moving away from a trine to Venus so moving away from trouble and into a safer position?

The Moon also representing me, is squared to Saturn and Uranus. I've taken Saturn as perhaps representing them? And Uranus is in my 4th house opposing Saturn also! I don't think this looks very good as it's all to do with my home and perhaps goods they could take?

I'm not sure which house to take for the judgement itself but I'm thinking the 9th as it represents legal stuff? This is ruled by the moon and it's all squared so perhaps a negative answer to my question and so good for me?

I'd be very grateful if anyone has any insight into this situation as at the moment I'm panicking and wondering if they are going to come knocking at my door.

Kind regards
Mia

Re: Very worried - should I be?

OK Mia, here I am again. As far as I can see, you have done quite a good assessment of your chart. The debt collectors are indeed represented by the 7th house and Venus technically in 12 but can be counted as being in the first due to the fact that it is within 5° of the 1sthouse cusp. This shows that they have been bugging you (they are on top of you, Venus on top of the Asc.) about 2°, days? ago. Asc. moves faster than Venus and was in exact conjunction at 4°. You are Mars in Cancer, retrograde and in fall, not very strong and in fact also technically in 8 but can be counted as being in the 9th. This could show your worries concerning law inforcement tactics. But, as you saw very rightly, Mars moves back from the law. Venus moves faster than Mars and on the 12th of December will trine Mars. This looks favorable to me. Moon is also your co-significator and indeed represents the 9th as well, showing the court. As you can see, your 2nd house of possessions is heavily occupied, Moon, Sun and Mercury as well as modern ruler of the Ascendant Pluto are there and the great benific Jupiter in own sign, ruling this 2nd house. It also shows that you are in dept because Mercury, ruler of the 8th (other people's money) is in your 2nd.
Which house represents the Students Loan Company? Rex Bill's rulership book takes the 8th as the house for loancompanies, so I will take Mercury and we saw that Mercury was representing the loan in your 2nd. Now, we should look for a connection between Mercury and the Moon (the law). Yes, Moon will contact Mercury in about 2 weeks or month (Moon is slow in succedent house). Also the Debt collectors will be called upon by the law to get together with the Student loan company, maybe to talk about this situation. Because you are also represented by the Moon, you also could decide to get the two together to assess the situation. As you see, the Moon(you) is leaving a semi-sextile with Venus(Debt collectors) and moves towards Mercury (the judge). The debt collector then moves towards a square with Uranus , ruler of your 4th. It is also the 9th house of the debt collectors and they are in for a sudden surprise (square to Uranus) I think when they figure out that the law will object them to take the house. A square usually means obstacles. You have the POFortune in your 1st house which is very strong indeed and Venus, traditional ruler of money and one of the two benifics is also in your 1st. The end of the matter house is ruled by Saturn in the 10th, accidentally dignified and Venus will sextile Saturn in 4° which could be weeks. You also have the North Node in the 4th which is by itself fortunate and in the term of Venus. On the 29th of December the North Node will trine Venus and in about 10° (days or weeks) Venus will also trine Uranus, if you do use Uranus (traditional horary does not acknowledge the modern planets!). So Saturn will actually only sextile Venus and not oppose Uranus. The last aspect of the Moon, after a few hick-ups with Mercury and the Sun, will be a conjunction with Jupiter, the great benific before she leaves her sign. In fact the Moon is allowed to make an aspect after she leaves her sign with another planet in early degrees and Venus is at only 4° so first she sextiles the North Node, then sextiles Venus as well. If you take Pluto as the modern ruler of your Ascendant, then the Moon then Jupiter will also conjunct Pluto. I dont really think that anything bad will happen to you. It think that there will be an opportunity to get out of all this.
Also there are several mutual receptions between the deptcollectors and you, namely a MR by ruler and face, between Venus and Moon by triplicity and term, between Venus and Mars by term and face and also by face and face.
The North Node is paralel with Spica, a very beneficial star and Pluto, your modern ruler is conjunct the part of "Sudden Advancement".
Please let me know how things will end so I can see if I was right or not.
Good luck!, Starlink

Hi Starlink

Thanks ever so much for your very insightful and very thorough reading of the chart. I know some horary and as you say was able to have a go at reading it but you are so much more knowledgeable. I very much appreciate you taking the time to respond to my question and so positively too - makes me feel a little more relaxed about the whole thing! I'm also learning more about reading horary as I try pick up on what you've said and your reasons for judging the chart as you have done. On a 'gut' level, (I'm Cancerian!) I'm beginning to feel that things will be okay - it's just a feeling but I tend to be right when this happens.

I will certainly let you know of any developments and will keep in touch.

Thanks again Starlink
and kind regards
Mia

Re: Very worried - should I be?

Hi Mia, I do hope I am right. I also noted that the Moon is conjunct Antares and my book says about that: favourable for business and domestic matters, active in local affairs and a few more good things, but it also says that benefits may not prove lasting. I always think: "may" does not mean "will", so I also have a good feeling. Also Uranus (ruler of your home) is conjunct Achernar and that one has the same qualities as Jupiter apparently.
I usually dont look at all those stars, apart from Spica, Algol and Regulus, but I saw this and thought it was quite appropriate.
Cheers, Starlink

Re: Very worried - should I be?

Mia , all

Hello my advice is alittle more practical.

Since you are in the UK you can call a company called credit counselling services. http://www.cccs.co.uk/

they will assess all your incommings and outgoings and if you can only pay £1.00 per month to all your creditiors. They have to accept it by law.

I hope this is of some help

lilly

Re: Very worried - should I be?

Mia

i cannot agree more with Starlink. I think she nailed your chart.
when a planet from other side representing an issue or quested ends up in your area of your chart, usually it means that quested or the subject of a question will go and meet your needs or demands. I do not think you wil be needing 3rd person/company since there is no translation of light. it is very direct.

that is all from me

Brilliant job, Starlink

Re: Very worried - should I be?

Starlink and Mia,

did you also notice that venus is accidently dignified? so to me, they are more interested in working iwth Mia vs Mia working wiht them!

I dont really think it will go into a court to be honest.

then Venus is technically speaking is in 1st house! 5 deg orb of the cusp is the following house.. (reference Christian astrology volume 1)
http://mithras93.tripod.com/lessons/...2/lesson2.html
http://skyscript.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=784

what is interesting about this chart is the ruler of 8th house is burning in your 2nd. Merc is weak as is .. Sun;s beams add to the problem. so i think they are losing money that is why they are pushing on collecting.

venus representing them is in scorpio .. in your benefit even though they dont like it. moon is almuten of their 1st house which is burning under the sun as well .. so they will have no choice but to work someitng out with you DIRECTLY.

Merc ruling their 2nd and jupiter your 2nd are in parrallel.. which is good. it is almost like a trine.. it will work out.. merc/jupiter will conjucnt in capricorn 0 degrees in the futrure

looking even closer, mars/saturn/venus will be in trine and sextile.. so the outcome is very possitive considering that it is in 1oth house which rules the outcome of the partnership 4th house from 7th and saturn ruling 4th house of the outcomes.

you will find out something anywhere from 2-4 weeks

venus/mars sextile 4 deg
venus conj asce 2 deg
sun trining 10th in 5 deg

cheers
Tik

Smile Re: Very worried - should I be?

Many thanks to all who have posted to my question. It's very much appreciated and Waterlilly, I have been taking practical advice too with Consumer Action Group - thanks for letting me know about credit councelling services. Tikana, thanks for your interesting take on it too and the Lilly quotes!

The advice I'm receiving from the CAG seems to back up what you have all said about the outcome: they are in a weak position and wont be able to do anything about it - essentially because of the six year statute barred rule. However, I think the debt company may try something else before it's all finished, they are particularly nasty characters and apparently scream things like '*****!' and other such niceties down the phone at you! They have been reported to Trading Standards many times because of their behaviour and have reduced many people to tears.

I will continue to keep you all informed of the situation and this horrible 'company' who also make me feel quite indignant for the way they are treating people.

Many thanks and kind regards
Mia
