The first thing that captured my attention about your chart is the tight conjunction between the Sun and Mercury in Gemini--the Sun is conjunct its dispositor, which I believe is significant, particularly because the Sun is emphasized in your chart due to your Leo Ascendant. The Sun-Mercury conjunction is located in an air hour to boot, so the Gemini-Mercury-Air theme is exaggerated.
Jupiter is exalted in Cancer slightly more than three degrees from the exaltation degree, and if I have read
Ptomely's Table of Essential Dignities correctly, Jupiter is also in its own term. This is also quite a strong influence, although it may not be readily expressed in the cadent twelfth house. I think your natal Venus
just missed being in its own term as well, and although Venus does not seem to have any special affinity with the sign of Cancer according to this chart, I still think that Venus has more of an affinity with Cancer than Leo, so I also regard this as a relatively strong position--its placement in twelfth house aside.
Leo is a strong Ascendant sign, but I think its influence may be weakened somewhat by the presence of Saturn in Leo, although Saturn is within five degrees of the second house cusp and can be considered to be in the second house rather than the first. Saturn is in its detriment in Leo, so I'm not sure how this will influence your second house; don't panic at the influence, though, because it certainly does not mean that you will be poor. If anything, I think Saturn may be beneficial to have here to curb the spending impulse of the sign on its cusp--Leo. Mars is even more tightly conjunct the second house cusp than Saturn, yet it is located in Virgo not Saturn--it will be interesting to see how this influence plays out. Mars is the ruler of your Aries Midheaven, so I imagine that it's not a bad thing either to have the ruler of the tenth house (career) in the second house (money). This is one of the main purpose of a career, after all, and Virgo is very efficient. Perhaps you are or will become very efficient at generating income, although this is just a guess; I have little experience with these types of things.
The Moon conjunct the third house cusp in Virgo is interesting as well, because I don't think of the Moon as being very comfortable in the house corresponding to communication, although perhaps the influence may make you adept at communicating (third house) your feelings (Moon) to others. Virgo is less of a sign of communication than Gemini, though, in my opinion, and now that I look at your chart more carefully, I see that the Moon is separating from a square aspect from your Sun-Mercury conjunction. There, I believe there is definitely
something here stressing mental influences/communication and emotions--and there was no pun intended there, although the square aspect is a stressful influence. So you've got the dispositor of the Sun and the Moon is the same planet--a strong Mercury in Gemini, although Mercury is combust and almost blinded by the bright light of the Sun. Your consciousness or ego (Sun) and subconscious (Moon) are both closely tied with Mercury, then, yet the relationships between Mercury and each of these luminaries is not a pleasant one, although fortunately both the Sun and the Moon share affinity with Mercury by sign. So there seems to be sort of a love-hate relationship here; the luminaries are strongly tied with the planet Mercury, yet neither has a harmonious aspect with this planet.
In fact, since Mercury is one of the strongest planets in your natal chart, all planets seem to lead back to Mercury in some way through dispositors: the Sun, Moon, and Mars are directly disposited by Mercury; Saturn is disposited by the Sun, which is disposited by Mercury; Jupiter and Venus are disposited by the Moon which is disposted by Mercury;
Pluto is disposited by Venus, which is disposited by the Moon, which is disposited by Mercury; Uranus is disposited by Mars which is disposited by Mercury OR Uranus is disposted by Pluto which is disposted by by Venus which is disposted by the Moon which is disposted by Mercury; Neptune is disposted by Jupiter which is disposted by the Moon which is disposted by Mercury.
If you have some difficulty understanding this, don't worry; I just wanted to illustrate that in your particular chart, everything comes down to Mercury. Therefore, it's a very important planet; I do not believe its influence can be overstressed here.
I find it interesting that your Libra North Node makes an out-of-sign conjunction with your Virgo Moon. To many astrologers, the North Node indicates the direction your soul wants you to go in, the abilities and characteristics you should adapt in this lifetime; it is directly opposite the South Node, which indicates abilities and characteristics that have been overdeveloped in this lifetime or past lives, if you believe in them, and must be left behind. The ruler of your South Node--Mars--is located in the same sign as your Moon, which is conjunct your North Node; I find this interesting because it further emphasizes Mercury in your chart. Both of these planets are also located in the third house, the house correlated with Gemini in modern astrology.
