Terms

Hello everyone,

I have a big problem understanding terms.

In my chart I am Saturn, and an object that I want is Jupiter.
Saturn is 6 degrees Virgo
Jupiter is 20 degrees Sag.

Jupiter is in Saturn's terms.

Does this mean Jupiter wants to recieve Saturn,
or Saturn wants to recieve Jupiter?

Even better, and more confusing, Moon will be in Jupiter's terms when it trines Jupiter.

Thank you very much if you can help clear my mental fog..
NR

Re: Terms

Neptune Rising,
As I understand it, Saturn receives jupiter because jupiter is in Saturn's term. That is, Saturn wouldn't usually receive Jupiter, but as Jupiter is at 20 deg sag, it can accept jupiter....
With the moon, jupiter will accept the moon for the time that the moon is in jupiter's term..
Theres a good discussion on skyscript forum where Tom Callanan explains this very well...but I hope that answers your immediate query..(and If I am in a fog too and got it wrong, I'm pretty sure someone will post accordingly.)..Cheers, Lillyjgc

Re: Terms

Thanks very much Lillyjgc, I think I finally understand it now.

So, the Sun at 13 degrees Scorp is now being accepted by Jupiter. Jupiter is interested in the Sun because the Sun is in Jupiter's terms.

Thats a great article on that link. I feel like my horary knowledge has transformed a little bit!

Many thanks,
NR
