Declinations and Predictions

Dear Astrologers,
It has been noticed that Declinations play vital role in life. Parallel, contra parallel are above the level of conjunction and opposition. Declinations help us reach closer to accuracy. If anyone has links and material concerning Declinations, kindly share and discuss. I strongly believe that Declinations based predictions can be accurate than mere transit based forecast.

Pls share your views on the subject.

Regards,
Intuitive_Divinator

Re: Declinations and Predictions

Radu posted an article about declinations on the site some time ago, although I believe its emphasis was more upon the declination of natal planets than upon prediction.

Actually, this is interesting timing to rediscover this article, not only due to the Mercury Retrograde period, but also do to the fact that the article mainly focuses upon Presidential astrological cycles. Perhaps I should create another thread to discuss the progressed moon in declination cycles of the major candidates in next year's US Presidential Election? I know that this is a global community, but this election will undoubtedly have a large impact upon the world, possibly determining when (or *gulp* if) the US will withdraw its troops from Iraq.

Here's a Declinations Convertor, which is also found on the main site.

I will keep my eyes peeled for more articles and sites online, but this should at least provide a basis for the discussion...

I look forward to the development of this thread

Arian Maverick

Dear Arian Maverick,
I am very glad to see prompt response from your end. Being a regular visitor of Astrologyweekly website I had gone through Presidential Astrological Cycles and Decl. Converter both but I thank you for giving links of both the articles here as it may be useful to others.

I am adding some more links to take this forward

I am also looking forward to receive some PDFs or links from someone, as soon as I receive, will share here.

We must take advantage of retro Mercury phase. It would be nice to read Progressed Moon in Declination Cycles under this Thread and if you are creating a different thread, please post a link here so that traffic can go from here to there, specifically astrologers with inclination towards politics would not miss out on this.

I am also looking forward to development of this thread for the very reason that a line from this link http://karma.astrology.com/declinations.html says that

"This is an aspect of Astrology that is quite obvious and important but is too often overlooked. Declination is equivalent to a topography of the solar system in motion. Many Astrologers study only the distance and speed of a two-dimensional, flat, circular orbit."

I sometimes strongly feel that study of transit is incomplete without due attention to declinations.

Regards,
Intuitive_Divinator

Re: Declinations and Predictions

Hi

I suppose parrallel and couter parrallel with dedeclination are powerful since they are used in horary

moon's parrallel and declination aspects would be vital when it comes to predictng exact time for an event

it is just my guess based on horary experience

Re: Declinations and Predictions

Hi

Im a great believer in declinations used with both geo and helio charts.

I am massively into Magi astrology and find it incredibly accurate and insightful

Only thing l would do is make the orbs a bit wider for aspects but the declinations are spot on and very powerful.
