Hi Nick,
Also with your chart you have Chiron in Gemini 9th, so this along with Saturn in the 3rd house, probably represents the areas around communication which cause some frustration for you. From just looking at your chart, I would say you have high intelligence, whether you believe this about yourself I am unsure, I hope you do, the mental capability is there, like Tim has said about your Saturn/Uranus aspect at critical degrees it is a restructuring of your thinking which you are aiming for. Saturn in whatever sign/house placement it falls in is always going to be a frustrating place for everyone, I have my Saturn in the 1st house and just the way I present myself with my shyness, makes me feel awkward in front of others and makes me want to scream with frustration at times. This may be how you feel around third house matters as well, especially when you are finding it hard to focus and concentrate, you may start to feel very unconfident in the area of the mind and your intelligence, your thinking, and how you communicate what you need to say to others.
Saturn can bring great tension to the third house but the greater the tension the greater the potential. If you put a lot of work into this area of your life you will feel a lot better about your mind in your later years. Maybe at times you feel a bit mentally trapped and isolated. It is just all part of the lesson your learning in this lifetime, which is to trust your own mind, even the advice I am giving you on your chart is just me giving a different perspective, and some ideas but always listen to yourself and believe in your own mental powers and the ability to make your own decisions. Usually I have found with Saturn in the 3rd there can be an overload of information, you probably know quite a lot about different subjects as you said in your post, your subjects include Astrology, Psychology, History, Philosophy and probably even more. If you keep working at this 3rd house area you can become quite the accomplished thinker, communicator - your weak point can become one of your major strengths. Saturn in 3rd just wants you to put all your mental abilities to real use in order to build something substantial. Saturn teaches you about commitment and follow through. Basically you need to trust your own mind and know that your are intelligent.
As I said before you also have Chiron in Gemini opposed Saturn in 3rd - This is quite a strong opposition repeating the same theme around thinking, communication, and higher learning along with your world view and how you perceive the world at large. Saturn in Sagittarius certainly makes you the philosopher. I was asking if you planned to take your education further because (Sagittarius rules over higher learning), and although it could be an area where you meet obstacles and problems, again it is something worthwhile for you to build upon, so the test is to stick with it for the long run. And don't give up. That is if higher learning is something you want to pursue. Maybe you want to do something else in your life again these are important decisions for you and only you to make.
On the Saturn/Chiron aspect in your chart here is an interpretation of this aspect in the book Barriers and boundaries by Liz Greene. When reading this just remember that your Saturn and Chiron being in Gemini, brings the focus to thinking, the mind, and your perceptions. Here it is:
"Although Saturn and Chiron may be friends because they both deal with the tougher dimensions of life experience, these planets will usually engage in a power battle if they are in conflict in the chart. They may do this even if they are in harmonious aspect, or unrelated to each other by aspect. If a person's energy is focused on defensive maneuvers, there may be a particularly propensity to view life as fundamentally unfriendly. Saturn's propensity to seek scapegoats can find a good hook in Chiron, and Chiron's propensity to blame life and human nature can find a good hook in Saturn. Even though both are connected with feelings of being wounded, Saturn's way of dealing with wounds is to make something happen which restores a sense of self control and self respect, while Chiron, it it can get beyond the primitive rage, attempts to seek relief through understanding, detachment and acceptance.
For any person with Saturn and Chiron in aspect, life is a serious business, and has to be approached carefully with weapons in place. There is too much consciousness of life's toughness, and too great an investment in survival. Such an individual can't go through life saying "Lets go to a party and forget about it". One might try but the morning after, the ground opens up under one's feet again. This combination in a birth chart precludes superficiality, even if one tries to terribly hard to adopt a shallow or unreflective attitude. Although the nature of the defenses is different for each planet, both have a sense of being threatened and excluded. Loneliness and mistrust are experiences which belong to both, and both reflect a deep lack of confidence. From an early age the individual knows instinctively that he or she is not going to get away with pretending that life is just fun and games.
Any aspect between them therefore suggests a potential for great depth and insight. Something very solid and strong can form inside, because the individual will have to cope with certain experiences that are conductive to reflection and self exploration. There is nothing as effective as the pain and feelings of inadequacy to make a person begin to ask important questions. When Saturn and Chiron are in contact, an awareness of the heaviness of life usually begins in childhood. There is usually an agreement between Saturn and Chiron about the fact that life can be extremely painful, even if they disagree about the nature and potential resolution of the pain"
Me Again
I loved this chapter in the book about the Saturn/Chiron aspect, I have this aspect in trine.
Chiron plays a bigger role in your chart as not only does it oppose Saturn it opposes Uranus and Mars. And the Mars/Uranus conjunction alone is very rebellious and active but put Saturn in with these planets and it frustrates their full expression, you may feel authority figures are trying to thwart your desires, and block your own unique self expression, and with Mercury in the 5th house Conjunct your Sun in Aquarius, you need to express your ideas, which are very humanitarian, your interested in the truth and in human nature and the natural world. Very Knowledgeable with interests which can span quite wide. You do have a square from Pluto to your Sun/Mercury conjunction so you have quite the probing mind, you can look at things deeply and you have a compulsive need to know things, you probably can be secretive, about certain aspects of your self. Do you have any issues around brothers or sisters it's just with Saturn in 3rd opposed Chiron and Mercury Square Pluto, it can represent you siblings as well as your mind and your immediate environment. It might not be a big issue, I was just curious. The Sun/Pluto aspect in your chart can show that you are a willful individual very driven and self possessed, there can be a tendency with this aspect to be self destructive at times but the main symbolism for this aspect is to eventually reach a point of self - transformation in your life. The Sun is the center, the goal you want to reach. And in Jungian terms the Sun can represent the whole Self. With Sun/Pluto you need to explore the whole theme of your self image, the Sun represents in the chart the symbol of becoming who you really are. So always explore what the Sun means for you in your chart, and what goals you want to achieve in life. You can use the drive of Pluto to get you where you want to be.
What I would add is that Jupiter in Aries is trining your planets in the third, as well as this planet adding to your intelligence, Trines can be used as a defence against the harder aspects in a person's chart. Jupiter in Aries can express over the top behavior and quite attention seeking behavior. It adds enthusiasm and confidence as well as a pioneering spirit. I just think it is something important to think about in your chart considering the Chiron/Saturn aspects. In the chart you gave above you never included aspects to Chiron, I would add in the Chiron aspects, I never used to use these in my Astrology but have found Chiron to be a lot more significant than I first gave this Asteroid credit for.
I will have a quick look at your nodes and that should finish your chart, I haven't gone into all your placements as this post is getting pretty long already.
South Node in Virgo 12th North Node Pisces 6th - The lesson is to learn to see perfection in everything in your life. Get in touch with your North Node in Pisces 6th by learning that service to others is to be accepting, loving, compassionate to everyone you encounter, honouring their inherent perfection and working with them as they work towards realizing this potential in themselves.
As I said before just some ideas to work with in relation to your chart they are not concrete and you will know better how you are expressing these energies in your life. That is the best way I know how to explain some part of your chart. I hope you found it helpful even a little.
Here is your chart with the Chiron aspects.
