Will I do well in the business field?

I'm going to study business this coming fall and I do have an interest in business. I intend to make it big in the business world someday...however, I do have one problem---a fear that I'm not competitive, smart, or quite enough in the business world. So, will I do well in the business field? Surprisingly, from my own interpretation, the horary chart really speaks in line with my natal chart. So far, I think it's a "yes" because:

Horary interpretation:

Sun and Leo in 8th------seems to be talking about investing...
Scorpio in 10th-----very determined to succeed
Mercury, Saturn, and Venus in 8th----------partnership business of a kind?
However, Uranus and Neptune in 2nd------tendancy to overspending and unstable income
And Aquarius and Pisces in 2nd------not totally obssessed with money

hey, i would love to analyse this, but i hate looking at the charts astrology weekly makes, too small for my eyes.

if you tell me the location of the question though or link to an astro chart i'll look at that.

a question, is this fear something purely from your own mind, or has someone in particular told you things that are making you less optimistic?

just like my friend's chart, i have suspicion that another person, or even perhaps a father figure is to blame.

It's a fear from my mind, but my father does have a bit of influence. However, he is not the blame (seriously, does everybody always has to blame somebody? I'm tired of it). My father, he's a figure that I regard highly since I was young because he happened to be one of the quickiest wit and bold person that I have ever known. Nevertheless, he's indecisive at times. I feel that if I cannot surpass him in intelligence, boldness, and even picks up his annoying indecisive (which, I do), then what chances do I have to complete in the business world? I'll be squashed like a bug. I want to excell, yet I have the worry that I don't have what it takes to do so. So, for a long while, I've been avoiding, and even now, I'm still in a mist.

In addition, since young, my family sees leadership potential in me and a bunch of other stuff....However, I have my doubts, especially in leadership. What's worse is that even my own birth chart shows leadership potential in me---a potential that I cannot see or believe that I can really reach.

I have many failures and disappointments in life, so probably that's why I am in doubt that I would actually do well in something for once--and that something might actually be what can satisfy my life all along.

ha, this is similar to a friend's chart i did today, except more fortunately you're jupiter. i can see though you're going to get a similar answer as him.

just like him, another person (your father, just as the chart suggests) is inhibiting you to a point, but most likely it is just your perception of him.

but, i'm going to start from the beginning. being jupiter and in the twelfth house shows to me that you're having a sobering, weakening reality to your optimism, concerning your new career choice, this is also the significator of your thoughts, and it doesn't seem like you're in a happy place concerning this.

to me the 8th house is going to symbolize 'fear and anguish of mind' in this situation. the symbol of your career, venus, is retrograde, combust.. afflicted, it is opposing neptune, which symbolises the confliction with your dream.

you, jupiter aren't making any aspects at all with venus (career).

i asked about your father, because you are opposing mars, who is the ruler of the fourth house, which symbolises your father. he is in the sixth house, weakly even though the planet is "joying". putting this symbolism into words is a little difficult, to me it has something to do with associating your father negatively with working a low day to day job (6h rules low laborers), because you feel you can't "overcome" him--as you've said. i do think that this negative association does have a potential positive outcome, if you see this as a challenge instead of a loss.

really i think this is a "the ball is in your court" sort of answer again, it's up to you to move out of the twelth house, lol.

in this chart the only enemy is yourself, literally--you jupiter yourself are in h12, house of "private enemies", in essence "enemies you aren't aware of".

i said something about 'self-worth' with mercury but i don't think it meant THAT self-worth, mercury combust&afflicted suggests another fear of possibly money problems, possibly from your fear of being inept in your career either that or not having the funds to see through it. but it's from your own mind i believe, because you're in the house of self-undoing.

still the answer above applies;
it's up to you to realize the potential in your natal.. after all, it really only is "potential".

by the way, i looked at the potential to make money from your career in your natal, mars is the ruler of it and is in aries, which is dignified in a masculine house.. so you definitely have great potential to make a lot of money from your career, if you haven't already.

lolz, I'm not in the position of making much money yet.....anyways, thanks for your interpretation. So I guess the only enemy that I have to defeat is myself...hm...at least I don't need to punch out anybody else. lolz
