Seeing Past Lives in GWB's chart.

Hi everyone,

I have been pondering this since I watched The Cross and the Cresent on the Discovery Channel here in the U.S. a couple of weeks ago.

When I studied from the Jeffrey Wolf Green's School of Astrology Introductory Package, it was stated that it was possible to see past lives through the natal placement of the Lunar South Node. The example used was George W. Bush's chart and they said that he most likely had a past life in Roman times.

What I am wondering is if Bush might not have a previous lifetime as one of the Crusader's leaders who lost the Holy Land, specifically King Guy. Now that he has the resources of the wealthiest nation on Earth, he is going to correct history and reclaim the Near East for his brand of Christianity.

My thinking is that not only does one need to know where Dubya's Lunar South Node is for this past life to surface but also the placement of his Martian, Jovian, Saturnian and possibly Plutonian South Nodes. To see if he will be successful, one would need to take the North Nodes of those planets into consideration.

What do you think?

It would be interesting if past lives could be seen from natal charts and I can imagine Bush as a Crusader... How did they explain that they've seen it in his chart?

I hope someone more knowledge than me will find this topic until then, I post GWB's birth data here as I found it on the net, so that they will not have to search:

I know I don't have the capabilities to run Dubya's chart with other planetary nodes. I think the latest version of Solar Fire has that capability. A friend and I are getting together Friday afternoon to discuss this topic and I'm hoping, with the arsenal of astrology software that she has, we can put the nodes in and see how they play into it.

I have found a site that will calculate all planetary nodes (it appears the Sun has no nodes). I am not sure if this is accurate or not, but here is "43"'s nodal line up:

Mercury: NN—1° Cancer 28'; SN—9° Leo 57'
Venus: NN— 2° Cancer 24'; SN—25° Leo 52'
Mars: NN— 11° Gem 3'; SN—8° Lib 22'
Jupiter: NN—10° Can 33'; SN—8° Cap 59'
Saturn: NN— 22° Can 14'; SN— 24° Cap 14'
Uranus: NN—15° gem 12'; SN— 12° sag 9'
Neptune: NN—10° leo 17'; SN— 12° aq 4'
Pluto: NN—19° can 26'; SN— 19° cap 46'
Chiron: NN—21° lib 59'; SN— 1° tau 43'

So it appears to me that the nodal axes, if this site calculates them correctly, tend to have their NNs within 2 signs counterclockwise of the Sun's longitudinal location (for Bush it is 13° Cancer 49'). The planets before the asteroid belt (with the exception of the Moon) have their SNs within 2 houses clockwise of the Sun's longitudinal location. The SNs of the planets beyond the asteroid belt seem to settle into a tight but not exact opposition with their NNs. And Chiron's is beyond oppositional orb. I've checked out several different birth dates and this seems to hold true.

If I am interpreting JWG's material correctly (with a dose of Steven Forrest thrown in), the location of South Node and the planet that rules the house where the South Node resides tells the story of the person's past. So Dubya's lunar SN is in Sagittarius. Sagittarius is intercepted in the 5th house (it is fully contained in the house and does not appear on a cusp), which is a fixed fire house. The ruler of Sagittarius, Jupiter, is in the 3rd house and conjuct  his Moon.

Here is my thinking:
The Moon is the way we emotionally relate to our world, our Lunar SN is how we emotionally relate to our past, whether through our tangible life, our genetic inheritance and our karmic issues from past lives. The NN is the way we transform and transmute what we bring from the past in order to move forward with our soul's journey. The Moon's placement, natally and through transits and progressions, tell where we are emotionally in the ongoing present moments of our lives. How do our emotions move us forward or keep us stuck in the past in the ever-present now?

Pardon me cutting out right now. I need to continue this post tomorrow. That time of the month. :x ops:
