Any Boomers With Saturn To Pluto Wisdom To Share ?

Hi, I'm new to this forum but not to astrology.. I'm about to go through Saturn to my Pluto and a variety of other "dicey transits." I was hoping that others who had navigated this might have some words of wisdom.
My husband had Saturn to Pluto earlier this year and it manifested as death in the workplace... 3 of his co-workers died Very suddenly, they were all his age or younger. He has Pluto in the 10th, natally.
My Pluto is in the 3rd.. and I'm curious about what the potentials are. My Sister's 26 y/o son did die suddenly in December of 2006. I'm hoping that's that last crossing in my family for a while. I lost my Father in May of 06 as well.
Anyhow, here are some of the transits I will be experiencing beginning Weds:
August 1 2007
Transiting Mars Square Natal Pluto

Intense emotional drama is available if that is what you need. Your emotions are not in tune with the more sensitive and private areas of your life. Push on now and you risk some very turbulent emotional scenes.

August 2 2007
Transiting Sun Square Natal Saturn

It may be hard to organize or persevere today. Everything may seem to be falling apart and coming unglued. Don't force things. Be patient and let the chaos blow itself out. Clashes with authorities or someone older over responsibilities are possible.

August 2 2007
Transiting Mercury Square Natal Neptune

Not the clearest of times. There is the danger of foggy thinking and of your being misled or getting too carried away with some plan or idea. A lot of mental pressure.

August 2 2007
Transiting Mercury Opposite Natal Mars

Steer clear of arguments and possible hard feelings. Your thoughts may not be in sync with your feelings, and this could result in a clash with someone today.

August 3 2007
Transiting Venus Square Natal Moon

You may not appreciate your surroundings, or someone younger than you does not measure up. Your values may be at odds (just for the moment) with those around you.

August 3 2007
Transiting Mercury Conjunct Natal Uranus

You are full of wit and sharp insights. This could be a time for real breakthroughs in the idea department. You are in top form when it comes to mental activity.

August 3 2007
Transiting Mars Sextile Natal Uranus

You feel like being different, trying something new and unusual. A perfect time for new ideas, a breakthrough in thinking, a novel approach.

August 3 2007
Transiting Mercury Trine Natal Venus

You have a clear vision into your own inner sense of values, how you appreciate and love. A good time to examine and think about what is important and of lasting value.

August 3 2007
Transiting Mercury Conjunct Natal Jupiter

You are in a planning mood and are very clearheaded and able to view all the alternative paths. Go ahead and make those decisions. You can see the road ahead and will make the right choices.

August 4 2007
Transiting Mars Opposite Natal Venus

Others may oppose or confront your value system. Their push or drive may tend to conflict with the way you feel and do things. Your own desires may be ignored.

August 4 2007
Transiting Mars Sextile Natal Jupiter

A perfect time to be assertive and to move forward in your career decisions. You have all the drive and energy you could want, and it should be easy to channel it. The path is open and clear.

August 4 2007
Transiting Saturn Conjunct Natal Pluto

The structure of your life will undergo permanent and lasting transformation at this time. This transit indicates changes that need to be made and will be made, and you have little gain by holding to old habits and programs. This is an excellent time to let positive changes happen.

Now, I'm a firm believer in freewill, but I look at these and really want to crawl under a rock till mid-August.
A big Saturn rock.
Thanks !
Belle

Re: Any Boomers With Saturn To Pluto Wisdom To Share ?

Fortuna, I am one such boomer....Saturn was/is exactly conjunct my natal pluto in House 9 TODAY!!! It was as we also know the day that mars and saturn were square for all of us. The ninth house deals with among other things, the higher mind.Philosophy, for example. Today in my life, a miracle happened. Something that I have been literally praying for, actually happened. I feel like I have had a "confirmation" in regard to something I believe....Last night I burnt an "angel-shaped candle" in regard to my prayer. As it finished burning this morning, a dear friend brought me news I have been waiting, hoping for.And just when I had all but given up hope!. This is the sort of thing that can happen under a pluto saturn conjunction...Even when squared by a malefic.....but hey, the day's not over yet! Lillyjgc......by the way, welcome to the forum! lilly

Re: Any Boomers With Saturn To Pluto Wisdom To Share ?

wow Lilly ! I am very happy to read that it is going well for you. I take it you are a 1953 or 1954 baby too ? And that definately sounds like a 9th house experience.. a Pluto Phoenix took form in the miracle. So Saturn isn't All bad ? l:59: Mars sounds like it triggered something good for you !

It has just been so calimitous for me this year... another friend going through his Saturn/Pluto had a seizure commuting home from work (another biggie in the news today, at least here in the US... ) and hasn't been able to go back to work since early June. I don't have access to the charts of my husband's co-workers that crossed over.. but I just thought it *interesting* that this was his Saturn/Pluto...

Once I got over the shock of seeing my transits.. I got out of my way and thought about it.. Saturn has been in my 3rd house for a while.. so why would I worry about this one day ? And Pluto has Always been there.. Plus, I've experienced Saturn there before. I just need to remember what year !

I'll be taking it day by day though, I've had some serious health issues this Summer and am at the very end of the "testing" phases..
I'd still love to hear other's experiences too.

sure, go ahead. I'm online for another 10 minutes or so. and I may hop back on later..

I checked my friend with Seizure's chart, and his natal Pluto is in the second house. Not being able to work has Definately impacted he and his family financially !

Fortuna, I have clients for the rest of the afternoon but I will get back to you later.. Mars and saturn are sextile in my natal and the strongest planet is Saturn in my H11 (hopes and wishes) so yes mars squ saturn must have been the trigger but will look more closely. My ex has seizures too and it just came out of nowhere..I'd like to talk to you about that too....I have about 20 seizure charts- I am trying to work out a way to *predict* their occurrence- it might save my friend's life..talk soon, lillyjgc-

Re: Any Boomers With Saturn To Pluto Wisdom To Share ?

Well still here ! ;0
That Sun Square Saturn will hit 3 people in my house tomorrow, me, my spouse and Son #1...

And Lilly I would be very interested in the seizure research. My friend was having a Uranus transit to his midheaven... as am I ! We have the same Asc and Midheaven..he is a year older than me, so his Pluto is in H2.
I've got an event chart for it, as well as natal.. but I'm having a hard time figuring out how to upload charts here.

BTW.. that transit info came from this site
http://www.chaosastrology.net/

It was definately worth it to join for the transit's alone.. USD $12 for the year...

Re: Any Boomers With Saturn To Pluto Wisdom To Share ?

Hi Fortuna,
With my friend who has the seizures- he doesn't know his birth time and his mum is deceased...He doesn't *believe* in astrology so won't pay the $35 to get it from the hospital! And I can't get it (privacy laws) so house wise I am not much use....I have yet to collate all the seizure data because he is still having seizures every 42 days.....nocturnal grand mals of high danger level. Nothing that I can find happens every 42 days in the sky (so far) . If it's not that it must be something happening in his chart every 42 days. Using all the data I have gathered I intend to try to rectify his chart and test out what happens. I have been advised to do the final rectification by using harmonic charts (the work of a guy called John Addey), but this is a new area to me and as his seizures started in June 2003 out of nowhere they could stop just as suddenly?Depends, doesn't it which planet is causing the trouble...It's interesting stuff. I have trouble with chart uploading too but am happy to email you the seizure "event" charts I have if they will be of any use to you...Regards, Lillyjgc

Re: Any Boomers With Saturn To Pluto Wisdom To Share ?

I've never worked with Harmonics, but I'm always willing to try something new.
I was taught that Mars is usually the trigger, most of my teachers were into the Dobereiner system.. though I never truly mastered it ..

My hunch is it has to involve Uranus and Mars or Aries.

Or perhaps lunar transits to the Criticial Degrees.
I'm also wondering if there is a Fixed Star involved ?

I recently got Bernadette Brady's book on Fixed Stars so I could look at that.

Well, we've *wandered* a bit from my original topic, but that's fine with me !
I hope you are still having good experiences with your Saturn/Pluto.

I got out my red emphemeris and found the three dates Saturn hit my Pluto in 77/78.. but I am drawing a blank with what I was doing then.
My seizure friend was playing in a band that was just about to break up, and had just met his wife to be at CBGB's in NYC.
My husband was working in the Middle East and while he was gone, his best friend suicided..
Their experiences now are somewhat similar.. loss of job, loss of friend.. I'm hoping something jogs My memory !

Re: Any Boomers With Saturn To Pluto Wisdom To Share ?

here is something from Cafe Astrology on Critical degrees, I forget how they were derived..
and I'm more familiar with calling the 29th degree, the anerectic degree..

critical degrees classic critical degrees are 0, 13, and 26 degrees of cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn); 8-9 and 21-22 degrees of fixed signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius); and 4 and 17 degrees of mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces). Many astrologers consider 0 and 29 degrees of any sign critical degrees as well. The classic critical degrees are considered sensitive, emphasized, and often strengthening, points. The 0 and 29 degrees are more crisis-oriented, especially in predictive work.
