Okay. my friend sent me this chart yesterday.
She wants to have kids with her fiance. They are not married yet.

well ... saturn and moon are in conjunction little over 1 degree in leo in 7th house. Venus sextiles Saturn.

I say it is a strong yes just over 1 year.

Hi Tik,

The chart may not be so simple. You have to look at the condition of the 5th house, the condition of the 5th house ruler, and the condition of the moon. If any of them are in 'barren' signs

(Lilly lists barren signs as Leo, Virgo and Gemini, adding Aries, Taurus, Libra, Sagittarius, Capricorn and Aquarius as signs that signify few children. Dorotheus says of Scorpio that it abounds in children 'and in deaths for them' ).

Moon, 1st-ruler, 5th-ruler or hour-ruler unfortunate and badly afflicted.

Saturn is the 1st ruler in your chart. Not only is Saturn malefic, but it is also in detriment right now. The ruler of the 5th is Venus, peregrine in Gemini, in the 5th. It *does* sextile Saturn, but the Moon has already separated from it, and *all* the significators are in barren signs or 'not very fertile' signs.

Hi Tikana.

There isn't nearly enough background information as to the querent's circumstances in order to deliver judgement upon a question such as this, to do so with no information, would certainly be 'jumping to conclusions', rather than deducing a likely judgement.

If you want help in delivering a judgement, rather than conclusions being jumped to, firstly, how old is the querent and the partner? How long have they been in a relationship? Do either the querent or the partner have any fertility problems that you are aware of? Was the question asked out of general interest, or was it asked because the querent is very anxious to know for some reason?

This is very important information, because if the querent is in her forties, then we need to look for a considerably stronger testimony that the querent will concieve than if we are talking about a twenty year old girl!

If we're talking about a young girl at the peak of her fertility, and she is in a serious relationship, has no known fertility problems and is trying for children, then we don't need much of a testimony to conclude a 'yes' as it isn't that unlikely anyway. If the querent is reaching the menopause, and has struggled and failed to concieve in the past, then it might be considered more unlikely in any case, so we need some really strong, compelling testimony to deliver a 'yes'.

These considerations in relation to the partner are also important, a twenty year old's sperm is considerably more potent than a fifty year old's.

she is in her early 30s. you can be perfectly healthy and not able to conceive or a child dies in the womb. Too many things can and do go wrong. My x friend was pregnant 9 years ago. The baby was kicking until the last minute. When they pulled the newborn out, he screamed but within 10 minutes he died. They did autopsy, found nothing wrong. The child was born in UCLA medical center so we are not talkign about errors here. here is another one. I am not bragging. I cannot remember how and why i said to what i said but I was lookign at this woman's chart. This happened hmm say 12-13 years ago. I didnt know that the doctor said that she cannot have kids. I told this woman in 5 years that she will get pregnant with the twins. She called my mom the next day and saidthat I was nuts stating that she has been married for 13 years and no luck, not even a miscarriage. The doctors told her that she was 100% infertile.. We have a fertility resarch center somewhere in LA. She went there as well. It is not only 1 doctor was telling her. in exactly 5 years, no therapy nothing she gets pregnat with twins. 2 years after, she had another kid. there are too many miracle pregnancies to concider.

Those 2 have been together hmm i'd say 4-5 years. No medical problems that we know of. I am looking through Lilly's book and so far not finding background information the way you are asking. He was going straight forward. But he does mention that age should be considered but we are looking from 21st century. Things have changed and women do get pregnant after 40.
Again, if you start considering the conditions of their relationship, things can go wrong there as well. She gets pregnant, he leaves her *Charlie Sheen?* She is pregnant something terrible happens to him or to her. My mom's friend slept with a guy just to get pregnant. There was no love. She just wanted to get pregnant, she didnt care about his child support money at all. those 2 are in a long term relationship. We are not talking about casual encounter here. Do you see my point?

28 taurus in 5th house is semifertile and not critical. And dont forget that when Lilly was around, children were the survivors of the nation. Women had a lot of pregnancies. Only a fraction of the children survived. It was all about survival. An average # of kids per household is 2. In Lilly's time that would be too few. My gradma had 8 children only 3 survived. We are talking about 1920s through 1945. Most of the children who couldnt make it, they got sick from deseases that are controlled (mallaria, cold, typhoid, famine, plague, and etc). Moon does trine merc at the end.
There is no clear cut no. The aspects are there. The chart is valid because Asce lands into her natal 5th house.

well, Venus is fortunate! Moon is not unfortunate because it is not peregrine. Quite frankly, it is +1. Venus does oppose Jupiter but it sextiles Saturn first.
