East Point and Vertex

Hello I'm kind of new to astrology so can someone explain to me what do the East Point and Vertex represent? Also, how can I find out what mine are in? Thank you

The Vertex is a point on your chart, just like the NN or the part of fortune, on astro.com it is listed with the additional objects at the bottom of the page, if you click on it, it'll come up on your chart.
