Hello I am new here. I consider myself a beginner student at astrology, and I want to practice reading charts, so I am going to use my boyfriends birthchart to start. I've already looked over my own so I want to start looking at other peoples. I like my boyfriends chart because there is a lot going on, unlike my chart where there are planets in the first house, he has a lot of conjunctions aspecting his sun Venus mars and mercury. He has planetary significance in a different style than my chart does, I think thats good to look at.*
Since my boyfriend isn't a stranger to me, I guess I'll describe his personality in a small amount before I show you his chart.
He was born on feb 17 1986 in Brooklyn new York NY. He's 26yrs old. He has a very loving character, but can be somewhat of a brainless professor at times. He's the type of person who needs a little shove in the right direction to get things started. He's *very stubborn and thick headed and does not take constructive criticism lightly. He's very sensitive and can be kind of snappish if his ego is held up for judgement. Around his friends he's very carefree and silly but around people he dosent know he is painfully shy. This has given him a hard time at job interviews because he dosent display much confidence. He's very concerned with his appearence and spends more time in front of the mirror than I do. He is also very romantic loving and knows how to flatter me. Hes somewhat a flirt and likes to charm both men and women, he likes to be on people's good sides unless of course someone hurt him, in which case he can be hot headed and vengeful. But his anger dies easily and he dosent hold grudges.

I have come to find he's an Aquarius lying on the cusp of Pisces lying in good correspondence to his Gemini moon, and a Virgo asc with a Gemini midheaven. So his ego and emotions are in the element air expressed through earthly pessimistic virgo. What I also see are two large underlying themes of fire and water. He has a mercury in its fall in Pisces (fear of communicating with strangers theme) a Venus exalted in Pisces (romantic personality) and a Pluto retrograde in Scorpio. I know normally Pluto is a generational influence but I think his carries some significance because (sorry for my astrological illiteracy) there are three blue triangles ( blue meaning harmonious aspect) from his Pluto to his Neptune to his Jupiter and Pluto to his Venus to his Neptune. Also a blue line from his Pluto to his mercury, which I realized at mercury turns into a red line Which connects with his Saturn at a red line. Before I start talking about the triangles formed with red lines (negative or challenging aspects) I want to take a look at his conjunctions (btw I'm sorry but I don't know what these triangles mean
). I will put much empathesis on his Sun and Venus which are both conjunct his Jupiter and both trine his Pluto. His sun which is in his 5th house ruled by the sun is conjunct his Jupiter and mercury. * So I'll have the confidence to say his Pisces mercury and Jupiter in aquarius are a large themes in his life and are exerted though his sun. So Venus mercury sun and Jupiter put empathesis on dreamy Pisces qualities and egocentric original aquarianideals. His sun trine in Pluto shows he has positive Plutonian energies. Jupiter which symbolizes his growth and how he is lucky is conjunct his Pisces Venus. Aquarius rules friendship so maybe his friends will help him and he will be lucky with his friendships with the help of his charming lovable Venus. His sun in Aquarius is also conjunct his Jupiter so his solar Aquarians influence I believe adds to this theme and works in his favor (which makes perfect sense he is lucky and benefits through his friendships). His sun conjunct his mercury in Pisces, may actually benefit this fall such as the fact that he is blessed with good ideals ( carrying them through is another thing) maybe the brainless professor theme is placed empathesis on due to this influence. His mars in sag is conjunct his Saturn in sag. So his creative ideals his independent nature prettymuch works with his karma in some way. So he has a strong Aquarian Piscean and saggitarian influence with strong aspects to his sun Jupiter mercury Venus and mars conjunctions. Especially his sun conjunct his mercury in Pisces and sun conjunct his Jupiter in Aquarius.*
Pluto is a big guy here because it has 4 trines, so lucky for him the planet of change and rebirth is throwing some gifts at him. I would almost like to say its his dominant planet along with Jupiter and mercury.*
Now since I looked at his blessings I am going to look at his areas of difficulty with those red triangles. From what I can see he has a large red triangle from his Saturn to his moon to his mercury, and from his Uranus to his moon to his mercury. What I get at this is his need to be responsible and karmic destiny is in conflict with his Gemini moon and Pisces mercury, along with Uranus and need to be independent. So his mercury I guess both a blessing and a curse. His moon is kind of in a tricky place in opposition to his mars (reason why he's easily irritable and emotional) his Saturn (needing a push in the right direction) and Uranus (fear of strangers difficulty in society finding a job). When I look at his elemental influence he has a strong punch of air (original ideas) water (powerful emotions) and fire ( a good amount of creativity and expression) but (maybe his asc makes up a little for this) only one sign in earth (has a hard time keeping his feet on the ground, and putting good ideals into a solid form lack of direction. Pluto tends to work in his favor so maybe themes of change and rebirth would work in his favor) while Uranus Saturn and the moon tend to challenge his (hard time balancing his independence and responsibility hard time controlling emotions).*
Could you please explain these red and blue triangles to me? And would you consider this a good analysis for a newb, how would you go about reading this chart. Thankyou so much for reading
