Need help understanding the Lunar Nodes in my chart?
Okay, I have the North Node in my 4th house, and the South Node (obviously) in the 10th house. I've been reading about these placements but the more I read, the more confused I get
Just to be clear, are my Lunar Nodes' placements advising me not to try for fame/anything similar or have I completely misunderstood? Could these placements demolish chances of fame/recognition in general?

I'd think of it a different way. This indicates you start from a place of outer world recognition/career focus and need to move inwards to "make a home" for yourself.
Moving inward,
Tim

Re: Need help understanding the Lunar Nodes in my chart?
Thank you I read that the North Nodes placement shows us what areas of our lives we need to focus on in order to keep moving up on a soul level?
Another thing I need to ask, concerning the Lunar Nodes, should I use whole sign or placidus? With whole sign, the North Node moves into the 5th, the South Node into the 11th.

placidus is better, than also check which sign they are in and where are the signs rulers
example: if you have s.node in capricorn, your s.node ruler is Saturn, your n.node falls into Cancer, therefore your n.node ruler is the Moon
if it`s s.node 2nd Cap and n.node 8th Can, that would mean you have to learn to let go, to be vulnerable and to merge with people, financially, emotionally, intimately, with Cap 2nd you might have a tendency to hold onto things and people even after they are dead, 8th is the house of rebirth
than you check in which sign and house the rulers of the nodes are, which will show you, the way out of the maze
so it`s not that easy and this was just an example
and you can be rich even if the nodes show, you must turn inward, n.node in 4th in your case
why? the 4th house cusp shows us what kind of person we will become later on in adulthood, due to our upbringing, if your 4th is in Aries, this will make you later on more outgoing, direct, action oriented and more sexual than you were in your youth, especially if you were shy in your first 20 years
post your chart and I`ll take a look

Re: Need help understanding the Lunar Nodes in my chart?
Anyone else have an opinion on this subject? I did a quick search on famous people who also had their North/South Node in the 4th/10th house. Quite a few of them were people that were famous to start with, and then sort of drifted out of the limelight later on.
