Hard to Predict: When Will I Find Love?

I have been single for almost 10 years and recently I summoned the courage to ask a girl out that I knew from High School. I somehow had this feeling, call it high hopes, that she was "the one".

I usually never ask a girl out and to my surprise she said "yes". I was elated! Well just about 2 days afterward she told me she changed her mind because she had ended a '2 and a half year relationship and felt it was too soon'. I'm not the pushy sort. It's just dating to see if we could be a couple, but in the back of my mind I was hoping so. Anyway, It's made me sad and despondent as you could imagine. So I'm here looking for hope and encouragement. I read on how hard it can be to predict this and it was a long list of things to consider, but can someone have at it? I will pay if it's thorough.

Okay so there's a possibility that there could be a new interest. She's out in Norcal while I'm in Philly. She and I have known each other for a number of years. Met online...

She said something a little whiles back that caught my attention. She's in a relationship and mentioned that if things don't change, that we can be each other's fall-back. Mind you, she said it a joking manner, but women don't have that kind of humor. (They kind of mean what they say.) And she never had said anything like that before. Mind you, she mentioned this when I brought up that there may be a chance I might be relocating to Norcal myself.

This has peaked my interest. Any input? Her B-day's March 2, 1989 born in Sacramento and I don't know her time of birth.

7th ruler with saturn and combust venus causes delay (approx till 1st saturn return), and jupiter is fall but aspecting its exalted sign shall bring good luck in matter related to 7th house.

I am 28 now, so after I'm 28? Eh... That's kind of a disappointment; LOL.

generally saturn return is at age of 28 but in ur case u will be under the influnce of saturn return from oct 12 , and from january13 u will face depression/tension for couple of months.

Oh BTW, just to get clarification, you said "you haven't passed your Saturn return"... Does this mean that Saturn is influencing me now and that it is not until after it has 'passed' that I may be in a position to find that someone? Or, that it will return 'starting' October 12th and it is at that point that I will find that someone? The terminology and phrasing's just a tad confusing.

The depression will be because the girl dumps me isn't it? I have a super strong feeling about that based on a conversation that transpired today. That will so suck... hard. I tend to wear my heart on my sleeve. I'm an ENFP.

okay so with venus in the 6th in gemini sextiling MC, it is better to be in situations related to work/career to find people


you will enter a better period in november despite the saturn return, you have been going through a saturn - rahu period since 2010 where many malefic things happened. you'll then enter in to a jupiter period which will be religious.

you'll get some opportunity in 2-3 days and also around august 20th. this wont be real though untill after september 19 so it will generally improve around that time.

I love you. (No homo) How did you recall my desire to attend a theological school? Interestingly, Saturday I attended an Adventist church service, as I have for a few months now, and I had been praying to God for direction as to which Adventist University to attend for seminary. I approached the pastor of the church to pick his brain and get a recommendation.

He essentially said, 'No, not now. You're rushing it. You're clinging to Jehovah's Witness teaching and I can tell by how you talk and you have been stirring problems though you may not have know this'. But I feel it in my bones that now is the time to act. The more I thought about what he said--that he would not have me baptized in to the church because I don't believe all their doctrine--I was convinced that baptism, according to his understanding and he who is supported by his conference who employed him, was attached to their denominational doctrine rather than the simplistic meaning in scripture which is repentance of sin and desire to come in to life in Christ based on faith. That's it...

I decided Saturday night to call a friend of mine's brother-in-law who is a Baptist pastor and shared some things with him and picked his brain as well. I came out of that very encouraged. He invited me that same night to meet with him in the Church and we just spoke. He told me he feels there are some things I will have to fight (doctrinally) but that he can tell I am learning and a lot and felt that seminary would help me develop substantially. It was the first time someone who's done it themselves, encouraged my desire. He said the most important thing he felt was that I be part a church family where I can feel as though I belong. I attended the FBC's services yesterday to my enjoyment. I've decided Adventism is not for me but that I was led there for a reason. It was a necessary stepping stone.

Now I'm looking for information for schools closer to where I am in Philadelphia. Still have to take the ACT or SAT (whichever) though. Hopefully I can get all that situated before winter.

Now as far as school or work for finding someone, I agree... I have known that for a bit now. The girl I like now, the one mentioned in the beginning of the thread, I met in High School. Does that count? She's in another state in the military though. So it's wouldn't be from "work" or any "school" now, but, yeah like I mentioned, we met years ago in High School. I may be overreaching with that but, yeah... I like her. A lot, maybe. =\
