Hello astrologers,

Here's a subject I find interesting. How different could twins be if the have different charts?

Since twins are usually born within minutes of each other, their charts are usually so similar that they're almost identical. However, in many cases, twins could have different charts because of different placements of house cusps, especially the Asc. So, while their planetary signs are the same, their house placements could be very different.

I'm one of those. I was born 15 August 1979, 12:30 am (GMT+3), Cairo, Egypt (30n03, 31e15). I have a Gemini Asc. My twin, however, was born around 15 minutes before me, putting her Asc in Taurus.

This is not the only difference in our charts. Our Moons are not very similar. While we both have them in Taurus and in the 12th, her Moon is so close her 1st house cusp that it's technically in the 1st. With such closeness, she have the Moon conjunct her Asc.

Another minor difference is Saturn. Using the Plasidus system Saturn is exactly conjunct my 5th house cusp, while hers is simply in the 5th house without a conjucntion.

There many other differences of course between the charts, but this are the ones that are quite obvious.

I know the differences between my sister and myself. However, I don't know what placements excactly cause those differences. I'd like your opinion on the astrological difference between us. To make things more interesting, I won't share our personality differences right now. I'd like to know what you think of the charts first.

The Sun is usually a representation of the outward personality of the person (how they show themselves off to the world).

The Moon is usualy a representation of the inward feelings of the person, who they are to themselves.

Mercury is usually a representation of the undestanding, comunication and the mental stimulation of the individual.

The Ascendant rules over the physical characteristics of the person (especially in the face- her having Taurus would make her have much thicker hair, darker hair & etc than you do). And sometimes over the personality in general.

All of these in completely different places will give you 2 completely different people.

Have you also checked out your numerology? That would explain some of your differences.

I'd say that your sister is more moody and emotional than you are, although she may try to hide her emotional responses at times. She is perhaps more attached, needy, to family and home than you are. Shyer, too. She also may have a more stubborn streak and can really dig in her heels at times when you would be perhaps more analytical. And a greater need for comfort or sensory experiences.

You perhaps need more mental stimulation, quick mind and wit, (sharp at times), but can be sidetracked. You need more varied activities, get very involved and then perhaps lose interest and move on to the next one. You look in greater depth at the world around you and have thirst for knowledge, understanding. You also sometimes may feel more emotionally isolated from others than she or have more difficulty expressing your emotions. You also need plenty of freedom, more than she. And are better at multi-tasking.

So, is any of this close??
