Not sure if this is a kite or a grand trine?

You actually have a Kite. I actually had a Grand Trine with a boyfriend and he was a nightmare. A really horrible person. The Grand trine involved Venus and Jupiter too. I think when the malefics are involved it can go either way. Also, you have the opposition and square with the malefics, sometimes these planets can overshadow the good connections. Time will tell which configurations shine through.

I want to establish the chart rulers for both chart natally. I have Capricorn rising with a 1st House Saturn in Pisces but my well aspected Venus (in Capricorn) conjuncts the ascendant at 4 degrees so I'm not sure if Venus or Saturn rule my chart? Or is it debatable? Incidentally Venus falls in the 12th House where she's exalted I believe.
Likewise for person 2. Scorpio on the Ascendant - I looked first at Mars which makes a square to the sun and in Scorpio in the 12th House. Mars is exalted here. Next I looked at Pluto which is in Virgo but well aspected in the 10th house. However, Neptune is conjunct the Ascendant but I'm not too sure of the orb and falls in the 12th. So I would tend to say that Neptune rules this chart. Incidentally, both charts have well aspected Neptunes - mine in the 9th in Scorpio and the other in the 12th in Scorpio too.
Can anyone point me in the right direction, I can use my intitiative but I need some help please.

PS Both natal charts attached...
I question the 3:00pm birth time; usually people are not born exactly on the hour. It will make all the difference in the world especially with the composite house placements.
