Re: The Difference between Venus in Aries and Mars in Aries?
Depends whether the chart belongs to a man or woman,
Venus from what I read, is afflicted in Aries (opposite planet of Venus is Mars which is Aries' planet) and where the planet is placed and it's aspects as well.
Basically Venus (an artistic/feminine planet) is not well placed in Aries, a very masculine/sporty sign but it IS well placed in Mars (named after the Roman God of war) it's natural ruler which makes sense.
Examples:
A man with Venus in Cancer might be attracted to a domestic, motherly type of woman, his Mars sign will show in what way does he try to attract the woman he wants, if his Mars is in Aries, he'll likely be very assertive and competitive with any other guys that want her.
A woman with Venus in Aries might be a tough, masculine type of woman, Mars in a woman's chart, shows what kind of man she'll be attracted to, and if she has a Mars in Pisces, she might be into sensitive, soft types of guys.
This could be bad because the type of guy she wants might be into a more feminine type of woman and since her Venus is in Aries, she might have a hard time expressing her femininity, Venus in a woman's chart, describes how she expresses her femininity.
In a nutshell:
A man with Venus/Aries might be attracted to masculine types of women.
A man with Mars/Aries might be sporty, competitive, assertive.
A woman with Venus/Aries might very boyish, might have a hard time expressing her femininity.
A woman with Mars/Aries might be attracted to masculine, independant, macho types of guys that are pretty strong.
Hope I helped a bit, Haibara-san AKA soratothamax. :P
