Guess this actor's ascendant?

Andrew Scott, born on October 21, 1976 in Dublin, Ireland.
He has Sun and Moon both in Libra.

I have no idea what his ascendant might be, though. Anyone care to take a guess?

Ok, sorry... So, here's my guess: Leo. He's very expressive, specially his eyes.
I wouldn't go for a mutable sign, I don't see that type of face. But then again, what do I know? =)

I was surprised to find so many answers! I do see a lot of Virgo in him as well as some fire (Leo or Aries!).

I guess we'll never know for sure until we find out his birth time.

Hello,

There's something very Geminish about him, and, due to the alertness in his face, which usually speaks for Merc. I wouldn't really go for an earth (except Virgo) or water sign as Asc. Having said that, though, even if it were, say, Cap, and Mer were on the Asc, that would make him Mer like again. I also sense Gem or Virgo, or at least a strong Mer-Asc connection. Signs that I would not really consider are Cancer, Pisces, Taurus, even Sag he doesn't look like.

I agree! I think watching him make his acceptance speech at the BAFTAs also made me think of Gemini because he uses his hands a lot when he speaks and is very expressive.

Since he doesn't have Sun or Moon in Scorpio, I'd guess Scorpio rising. Its the eyes!

If he was born in the early hours of the morning, he'd have Moon in Virgo, which is has been mentioned as likely energy for him to have in other posts. This could also say something about his gesticulating, along with Mars closely conjunct Uranus (which might be near the Ascendant if he has Scorpio rising).

I never thought about Scorpio rising but you guys are right--his eyes are very intense. Now that you mention it, there's also an odd intensity in his manner of speaking that screams Scorpio!

If he has Scorpio rising, his Moon must be in Libra rather than Virgo - both Libra and Virgo often like to present a neat image.

I thought Virgo rising the second I saw him, but he seems kinda Gemini-ish too.
