An Artist's Chart?

I was asked to post my chart thing here.. so here goes.. not sure what it means, or what you'll find in it.

I read sidereal rather than tropical.

Venus is in her sign of exaltation, Pisces.

Venus rules the 10th house (vocation) and 3rd house (media expression).

Venus in the 8th ruling the 3rd and 10th might dispose you toward making art, selling art, expressing art through media, that deals with themes of transformation, death and rebirth, occult and magic, secret information and taboo subjects.

Venus in the 10th house of the D-10 divisional chart, which corresponds to the 10th house of the basic chart, should your birth time be accurate (that one is quite sensitive to innacuracy)

sidereal.. does that mean there's a side of me that is real? as opposed to something tropical that changes a lot like a rainforest?

I'm not sure what you're referring to about houses and rulings.. if im in the 8th ruling.. am I like sleeping or balancing?
and if I'm in the 10th house.. does that make me determined or rigid to this sleep?

The houses are divisions of the sky that we examine to determine things about you. At the time of your birth, the first house is the portion of sky rising on the eastern horizon, the rest are derived from that.

We aren't really 'in' them, we are them, or they are relevant to parts of us. We all have a 10th house.

Which sign occupied that space at our birth, and which planets are relevant to it, determines what we get up to vocationally.

oh ok i see.. so like the ones around me when born are more emphasized because I'll spend more time in those as I cycle through them, thus always favoring them over others due to their strength over the others..

Yes kind of. Whichever planets are strong in our charts, we gravitate towards doing what they signify.

Mars in Sag conjunct Uranus is very artistic! The artist Alex Grey has Mars in Sag (I think, the Rodden Rating on his chart's a bit dubious )

There is some good potential.

For artistic activities. I look at connections between Neptune and Venus, then Moon and Venus.

For writing potential, look at connections between Mer and the Moon, amongst other things.

Of course, then start to look at the signs they are placed in, etc. In your case, although the aspect between Nep and Ven is quite wide for a square, you have a lot of Piscean energy, which can be very inspirational, and is a lot like the Neptunian energy. You could be quite a dreamer even. There is a lot of water in your chart, which again speaks for the artistic 'flow'. You also have a tight aspect between your strongly placed Cancer Moon and dreamy Piscean Mercury. Mer is in Venus' natural house (7th), so it is connected to Ven, too. It would have been better to have had Ven in one of its own signs or in Pisces, but it is in the 8th house, where it delves deep as it has a touch of Pluto to itself. All in all, yes, there is some good potential for an artist in your chart.
