Question Pregnant before September?

I realize that we can determine such things with simple blood tests, but I am curious what the cosmos may have in store before getting to the point of practical science.

Will I get pregnant before September? (if so, what gender)

I've never done a pregnancy horary before so I had to look up Lilly's guideliness for these readings. I may be doing this wrong, but here is waht I have fo far:

I am Moon, and also Mercury (Asc ruled by Virgo ruled by Mercury).
5th House of Children is Capricorn, ruled by Saturn. Saturn is sitting in the 2nd house, it is retrograde.

I see the following aspects which relate in some way to determining pregnancy (highlighted yes as red, no as blue, and neutral in orange):

1. Moon aspecting Lord of the 5th (here, Lord of 5th is Saturn): yes, Moon is Square Saturn. Lilly says any aspect is good for pregnancy. But Sat is Rx, i dont know how that affects it. If Moons quares a retrograde saturn, is that just undoing the aspect or meaning conception but difficulty?
2. Lord of 5th (Saturn?) in 1st house as positive for preg. But here, No, Sat is in the 2nd house (this may suggest timing of not this year but next, according to Lilly)
o Fruitful signs upon the ascendant or 5th cusp (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces). -- No, here Virgo is on Asc, and 5th house ends in Aquarius but begins with Capricorn.
o 5th-ruler or Moon in 1st house. (5th ruler saturn is in 2nd H, Moon is not in 1st)
o 1st-ruler or Moon in 5th house. (YES Moon is in 5th house)
o 1st-ruler in 1st, 5th, 10th or 11th house, if it aspects well-placed benefics and Jupiter is strong in the chart. (Mercury is 1st H ruler and I dont know if it is making good aspects here... it does aspect Jupiter and it trines saturn Rx)
o The above, but with 1st-ruler in 4th or 7th house, suggesting that pregnancy will occur but will be delayed. (No Sat in 2nd)
o Benefic planets in the 1st house, or angular, or in a promising aspect with 1st-ruler (look for Jupiter, Venus or Sun well placed, dignified and direct, and preferably in a sextile or trine with a principal significator). -- Jupiter trines Moon.
o Jupiter in the ascendant or free from affliction in a strong house (providing it is not in a barren sign - see below).
--Here Jupiter is not on the Asc, it is in the 9th house in Taurus.
o The asc in a fixed sign with a fortune placed in the first house or the 5th-ruler strong in the asc or MC. [no, fixed signs are Aquar, Leo, Scorp and Taurus]
o Venus in the 5th, free from affliction. [No Venus here is in 10th, sunbeams]
o 1st-ruler, 5th-ruler or Moon in aspect with, and in reception with, an essentially dignified planet in an angle (Lilly warns that in these judgements accidental dignity gives hopes, but no real assurance). [__not sure__]
o Asc-ruler in good aspect to ascendant or Moon in a good house and in a favourable aspect to a beneficial planet in an angle. [__not sure what a "good house" or "beneficial Planet" or "favorable" would be here...__]
o Moon in good aspect to 5th cusp or having essential dignity there. [??]

Quote:
Lilly also mentions another method of judging pregnancy using the planet from which the Moon last separated and that to which it next applies: if the Moon's last planet rules the 5th sign from the position of the Moon's next planet, and there is an application or aspect between the two, the pregnancy will be successful. If this is the case but there is no aspect, yet the planet to which the Moon applies is angular, the pregnancy will be successful. He also notes that if the dispositor of the main significator is well placed and strong it increases the arguments for success.
I've never been good at knowing what planets aspect each other in what order...

For Gender predictions:
1. Lord of Ascendant (Virgo -->Mercury) in 5th or 10th (yes, Merc in the 10th) - as testimony for a girl
2. Moon in 5th with a trine to Jupiter - testimony for a girl.

HOWEVER
the Moon is in detriment, and I dont know what that means here, also there is the Venus under sunbeams of the Sun which is also negative.
And Saturn, as noted, is Rx.

So is this a no? (??)

Re: Pregnant before September?

(Following is not in accordance with standard horary practice and uses whole sign house format)

Let's see what the old al-Sadwali pregnancy horary method says:

1st house = Virgo = no
5th house = Capricorn = no
8th house = Aries = no
11th house = Cancer = yes
lord of the 1st house, Mercury, posited in Gemini (same sign as SN) = no
Moon posited in Capricorn = no
lord of 5th house, Saturn, posited in Libra = no
Part of Conception (night formula ascendant+sun-mars) falls @ 13 Gemini = sign conjunct South Node = no

...a "no" answer to the question is indicated by this method....

I appreciate your response Dr. Farr. This is really sad and disappointing news however. I am very much hoping there's an error somewhere in the cosmos, and the reading is wrong...

So do I! And, I certainly have been wrong before!

Of course you could take action to make a difference (horary indications are based on "if nothing special is done then XXX will likely happen"; horary indications are NOT "fated") Follow the remedial astrology indications described in my thread in the Medical Astrology Forum, "Remedial Astrology: Strengthening Venus and Jupiter"; also use of certain herbs such as shatavari, the homeopathic remedy Pulsatilla 30c pellets, and careful attention to Lunar phases, have the potential for increasing fertility, and therefore for making the horary reading turn out wrong!!

Re: Pregnant before September?

Well, that is encouraging :-)

I will look into those things for certain. I'm alread following lunar phases, temperature charting, changing diet... but so many things have to coincide (it's exhausting really) to make this happen, and even then it's never a guarantee. But I'm determined to do 100% what I can on my end to at least "set the stage".

I appreciate your feedback, i will check out those other threads...
