I was not sure where to post this thread, I hope this is an appropriate space. BTW, Magic Man.... His last name had Magi in it.

Lately I have been having a series of dreams that have been prophetic or are "visited" by those close to me that have died and have a "message" for me. I haven't concluded the reasons for these dreams, and am working on that. Last night I dreamt of a very dear friend. Timing wise, I am not really surprised since transit Mars is conjunct his natal Mars and My natal Venus. And Transit Neptune is conjunct his Natal Sun and my natal Saturn... and Transit Saturn opposed his Natal Sun and my Natal Saturn. We had met at the beginning of my Saturn return, he was my boss. The first week, my Father had gone into a coma (and died within the year) and his daughter(my age) had "disowned" him. We kind of filled the voids with each other and over the years we remainded very close. I owe him my very life. The last time I spoke with him was a few years back, and he had been very ill and didn't sound good. I haven't been able to get ahold of him since and know of no way to.

So, there is the background... the question is..." Is John dead?" Asked March 8th,2007 @ 2:57am in Fountain, Colorado 104w42 38n41

I would appreciate any help, as apparently having Neptune on my Saturn has been having me read charts all wrong. Here is my attempt.

My sig is Saturn found in the 8th and in bad form ( I guess I could stop right there!) He would be the lord of the 11th, Mars... found in my 1st. His turned radix house of the 8th is is the 6th with Gemini... ruler Mercury in the second (his radix 4th) with no aspect or signifigance until changing signs. The Moon being my Cosig (and I believe important because of the placement... he was my boss and a replacement Dad) is the next perfecting aspect to his Sig, Mars. So, I believe the answer is yes, John has died.

I don't have much time to post, however, I am sorry to say that it appears as if John is dead.

There are two Considerations against judgement but I believe that they relevent to the question and gives confirmation that the chart is indeed readable.

The moon is in the Via combusta - This usually appears in charts concerning questions about death and illness. It is a confirmation of sudden, unexpected and sometimes "firery" endings.

The ruler of the 7th house aspects a malefic. I used the 7th house for John because you called him by name. The turned chart puts him, (cancer) on the first house whose ruler, (the moon in Via Cumbusta), squares Mars.

John's 8th house of death, (Aquarius), ruler Saturn conjuncts the POF in the second house and lies in opposition to mercury in the 8th. Mercury is the ruler of Johns 12th house of sorrow/grief. The 4th house of endings contains the via combusta moon, (John), which squares Mars, (ruler of the 4th). I believe that John has passed. It appears to be a quick, (Mars and the moon Via Comusta), and unexpected death possibly in an automobile accident, (mecury). I wish that I had more time to go into details.

I appreciate the time you took to look and answer. I also tried the chart putting him the 7th and the 4th... but no matter what house I used, the outcome seemed to be the same.

I didn't even notice the Moon was traveling down the path of combustia, thanks for pointing that out. I was blaming poor Neptune on my fuzzy thinking.... I should instead go back to the tutorials.

About the possibility of being a car accident is a very possible likelyhood. John wholesaled used vehicles to Mexico. They would not hold up to American regulations, and there were some real scarey ones he would get in to trade. I know in the past more than one of those engines had caught on fire.

I do want to point out, after posting the chart, I noticed a nice warm fuzzy.
Saturn in the 8th (remember, he was like a father to me) trine jupiter in the 12th (spiritualism and dreams) trining Venus in the 3rd (communication).
