Lunar eclipse on June 4th: will make or brake me and others?
Hi and my great respect to all members,
Kinda new to astrology. The upcoming lunar eclipse a bit worries me. More interestingly, i am hearing a totally opposing views about the eclipse.
I am sun libra, with rising scorpio. My uranus is at 14-29 Sagittarius and my moon is at 14-13 pisces. So this eclipse is sure to get me. But how? Any ideas?
Here is the link to my chart:

Thanks in advance.

Re: Lunar eclipse on June 4th: will make or brake me and others?
Hi. The link you've given is taking me to my own astrodienst account.
I wouldn't be worried if I were you. There aren't any significant transits to that natal square at the moment, even using semisquare and sesquiquadrate transiting aspects. When transiting Mars moves through the 15th degree of Virgo on Wednesday you may feel that more strongly than the eclipse.
But either or both of these short transits could put you in touch with what that part of you needs, and it's possible that the eclipse will trigger a process which will last for a month, or even six months, depending on whether you see the Lunar eclipse as having an influence until the next Lunar eclipse or just the next Full Moon. I personally see these periods (and also those described by Solar Return charts, etc) as not especially fundamental to experience and development. What is happening now, I feel, is far more reflected by the transits and progressions that are happening now, rather than an eclipse which happened 4 months ago.
But I would spend some time thinking about what this quite striking natal aspect means to you in order to get the most of the Mars and Sun/Moon transits. Its a very restless Moon, and the progressed lunar square to Uranus became exact when you were just a few months old. (Something disruptive may have actually happened then which left its mark on you.) There could be some pain around around lunar issues because the sensitivity and need for emotional intimacy of Moon in Pisces is innately at odds with the detached and erratic energy of Uranus, and because the aspect between them is tense.
I'm happy to discuss this aspect more when the whole chart is available, if you think this might be helpful.

Hi,
My experience is that an exact [to the degree] contact from an eclipse to a luminary, either Sun or Moon, is an important event, especially when the the Moon is highlighted in a hard aspect natally to an outer planet like Uranus. Lifelong issues surrounding your inner feeling life may have been disruptive, surprising, insightful. But, however they manifest, your inner feeling life is the centerpiece of your chart, as it is the centerpiece of the psyche, and this eclipse contact your natal Moon is noteworthy.
So I would look to how issues surrounding your most private inner feeling life have been taking a turn in the last 3 to 6 months with an eye towards the lunar eclipse providing some illumination or clarification for you. It is not likely that you will feel or observe anything at the time of the eclipse. But in the weeks and months following it, you may find insight or understanding of lifelong issues in your feeling life, so keep yourself open to it. And know that transiting Uranus' ongoing cycle to your natal Mercury can provide you with a mental openness and insight to assist you.
I feel excited about the possibilities for you to grow into greater ease within yourself and with others.

Re: Lunar eclipse on June 4th: will make or brake me and others?
Hi. New link still not working, I'm afraid.
Try to decide who has the upper hand in your chart - Uranus or the Piscean Moon. This could be a time of getting a deeper understanding of both planetary drives and how they may be defended against one another. Its a chance for the underdog of the two to get a look-in. If your chart is watery, perhaps with a strong Neptune, then Moon in Pisces may be more conscious and Uranian needs for independence may have been projected, but if your chart is more airy then Uranus may have stopped the Moon getting the closeness it needs.

fwiw Tural85, lunar eclipses repeat cyclically and in this particular case, when checking my Ephemeris I notice that an eclipse at 14º Sagittarius occurred exactly nineteen years ago on 4 June 1993 when you were only 8 years old. As you were so young you may not recall events at that time and so it is a good idea to ask family, as well as close friends of family, what the major events of 1993 were - because there is likely to be a general theme of some kind.

Hi. Well done for your perseverance (still doesn't work though!) Here is a link that should work, but let me know if it expires, as I've problems with this before.
Just to make sure time zone is correct - is this the right ascendant for you?

Re: Lunar eclipse on June 4th: will make or brake me and others?
If you include Chiron, you have an exact T square, which also makes a wider grand cross with the Venus Mars conjunction. So one would expect this Moon to have difficulties initially. It's not obvious from your chart whether you have developed your thinking function more (Sun and Mercury in Libra) or your feeling function (Ascendant and Moon in water signs).
Perhaps due to the sensitivity of the Moon in Pisces, and the potential sense of alienation and isolation arising from the tense aspects to Chiron and Uranus, you've tended to shy away from feeling things directly (water), and chosen instead to use your mind (air) to reason your way through life. Also, Saturn in a water sign can reflect a fear of opening up on a feeling level.
At the end of September and beginning of October as transiting Saturn moves through the last degree of Libra, it will make semisquare and sesquiquadrate aspects to the tight T square, and this may also be a time of deepening your understanding of what your Moon needs you to do now. And at the end of this year transiting Saturn crosses your watery Scorpio Ascendant. Both of these transits may bring a sense of isolation and may feel difficult, but they are excellent opportunities to do something healing with your feeling side. And of course the eclipse will closely aspect the T square too.
Also at the end of the year is your progressed lunar return, and it passes transiting Chiron on the way (with transiting Chiron conjuncting the natal Moon next year). So this is a time when your watery side is being spotlighted.
Transiting Uranus and Pluto have been aspecting your Sun Mercury conjunction and will continue to aspect Mercury until Autumn (in the case of Pluto) and next year (in the case of Uranus). One possible reading of all this is that your airy defences will be being challenged if they are too rigid (e.g. too rigid to allow your feelings flow).
As Steven Forrester says, Libra operates best when it sees truth as always consisting of two half truths. Taking this line may be helpful in allowing the more primitive and chaotic world of feelings to intrude on Libra's more civilised and cerebral way of being.
I'll wait for you to respond before venturing anything else, in case I'm just going down the wrong track.

Hi miquar,
Yes, this is my chart, and i am a very typical scorpio with scorpio rising. I have been having difficult, uncertain and cloudy times in my career life over past couple of years. I still remember how one astrologist decsribed it for scorpio rising: saturn goes thru ur 12th house, life is uncertain, everything is beyond control, you feel like in a waiting room... Anyway, tough times for me... Saturn brought me down to knees by being in my sun sign and thru my 12th house.
Back to lunar eclipse. It does fall into my second house, i am expecting a result from an important foreign project... I also have uranus at same degree at sag... Any views on that?
Btw, i should reas my rising sign, right? As libra, the sun sign is less relevant?!
Again, my appreciation of your time.

Re: Lunar eclipse on June 4th: will make or brake me and others?
Hi. During the past couple of years, your progressed Sun has been semisquare and sesquiquadrate the t square, and also transiting Pluto has been squaring you Sun and then Mercury. These could both manifest as vocational issues as the Sun says a lot about such things, and the Pluto transit in particular could have brought you to your knees.
When you say you are a typical Scorpio rising, does this mean the typical Scorpio who keeps a control of their feelings in order to avoid vulnerability and possible humiliation, or the kind who engages intensely with life because the possibility of pain is seen as less threatening than the possibility of stagnation and ignorance, or a mixture of both.
Your Sun sign is very important to develop, but many people don't get fully in touch with it until their into their 30s and its really a life-long journey to develop the potentials of the Sun and its placement in the chart.
I'm still not clear whether you tend to consciously adapt to life in a Libran way (i.e. tending to evaluate situations using a theoretical or ethical model which aims at maintaining civility and harmony, or whether you tend to follow your gut instincts and passions into potentially dark and chaotic places in order to feel more emotionally alive (Scorpio).

I would say my personality is scorpio, power and control, bitter language, hitting back when hurt etc... However, i am realizing i want to take more of Libra though diplomacy is already part of my character. And overall, i definitely prefer thinking to feeling, and consciously i want to forgive, be in peace and harmony with others (as that is the only way to bring peace into ur own life), and if necessary and best option, hit (scorpio again)...
Thanks again, it has been a very interesting exchange of thoughts with you.

Yes I see how the dilemma is for you. That Pisces Moon wants harmony too, but also fusion and intimacy, so it shares values with both Libra and Scorpio.
Did you feel anything as transiting Mars aspected your T square today?

Well, today not really... Some agonizing over the past, considering past mistakes...
However, Mars transit was much more obvious for me some days ago during degrees 6-10 in Virgo as per my natal chart, when i had irrational fears about the past mistakes and future direction, relationship with others etc...
Again much thanks for all the insight.

Re: Lunar eclipse on June 4th: will make or brake me and others?
So there was the same thing coming up each time transiting Mars activated the Grand Cross planets. Pisces and Virgo are very sensitive signs, and this includes sensitivity to when something has not been done in the way that it should have been. Pisces in particular is concerned with redeeming past hurts. The tight square between the Moon and Chiron suggests tension between the compassionate and idealistic instincts of Moon in Pisces and Chiron's awareness of injustice and cruelty. Perhaps this could be a time where you try to forgive yourself for whatever actions have left you in this state of remorse.
I just re-read your last post and realised that my recollection of your words had altered by the time I finished the last paragraph. I'll leave it as it is, in case its relevant to you, but it could be that I drifted off at an irrelevant tangent by on some level assuming that the past mistakes involve your fear that you hurt someone.
Anyway, as always its just my speculation to be taken on board or not as appropriate.
Best wishes

Miquar, concentrating on the secong house, ie uranus in sagittarius, what could this eclipse bring to the second house of money matters?
Also, when reading astrology forecasts, scorpio is more relevant for me than libra?! May be i am wrong...
Again, thanks for all your time and analysis, and i promise, this is my last question (unless a new topic comes out )

Hi. You're very welcome to ask an many questions as you like.
Its not unusual for someone to identify more with their Ascendant than their Sun sign - its hard to live out both initially when they're in opposite elements.
I don't know what to say about your 2nd house Uranus being hit by the eclipse. I would take JupiterAsc's advice and look at what has happened when this part of your chart was triggered at age 8. I would also look at other lunations and transits to this natal placement to see if there is a recurring theme.
Finances can be erratic with a 2nd house Uranus, especially with a square aspect from a personal planet. Chiron in the 8th suggests issues around investments (whether financial or emotional). I'm happy to explore what this part of your chart might mean for you, but I don't approach astrology in a predictive way.

Re: Lunar eclipse on June 4th: will make or brake me and others?
Turai85, I think Miquar has given you very good advice. If you think through your life up to now and the various transits you've survived, chances are nothing horrible happened-- or at least nothing bad that you could not survive and emerge the stronger for it.
In some ways, an eclipse is like a sun or moon transit, of which you've had many. The difference really is that the two luminaries are yoked together, and many astrologers feel that it is a time when the nature of the eclipse by sign and house will make itself felt more in your life-- possibly with more lasting results-- than an ordinary sun-moon transit.
Maybe an interesting activity for you when you have some spare time would be to date the ecipses in your life that aspected your personal planets, and then determine what happened in your life on that date as well as several months afterward.
Also, astrology doesn't exist just to frighten us. Maybe now would be a good time to think of positive ways deliberately to introduce more optimistic Sagittarian energy into your life. Your natal chart (sun-Mercury square Neptune, Moon square Chiron) suggests that you may suffer from self-esteem issues. Sagittarius could be about building your self-confidence.

This Lunar Eclipse potentially have some -Ve influence; Finances, Career, Self-esteem, Love, for example.
Because of Eclipse over Uranus, things can go wrong from your side - exercise caution. You can be emotionally volatile for a year or so as a result of this eclipse.
