Numerology?

Is numerology a part of astrology? If so, I could use some help. I feel with my zodiac and numbers in birth and name, that I'm doomed to failure!

I don't know muh about numerology but the major part of interpretations still based on Astrology and other occults. Since astrology is the advance version of numerology. Such as the understanding of aspects also related to this method.

Numerology is a special study and field and requires study of its own literature; you can approach and use astrology without knowledge of the special field of numerology, if you choose to do so.

We have some threads about numerology here on AW, but most of the material here is about "direct" astrology; you might find material looking through the threads in the "Spiritual Realm" and "Other Astrology" forums.

Hello Castor,

you may have your numerological theme without astrology.
There are some books on astro-numerology, but the numerology alone give interesting results.
With numerology we make the same theme as in astrology and annual previsions ( the annual vibrations).

Kevin Quinn Avery in "The Numbers of Life" talks about planets in relation to numbers.
Nona Gwynn Press in "New Insights into Astrology" gives a system of astro-numerology, but there are other astro-numerological systems too.
Faith Javane and Dusty Bunker in "Numerology and the Divine Triangle" - for each number give an astrological correspondence.

I read some books on astro-numerology but I do not use numerology with astrology. The numerological theme is very accurate by itself.

I am an experienced Astronumerologist. Numerology is distinct from astrology, they are two separate sciences. The numbers do have affinities for some of the planets, for example Jupiter and the number 3 are similar but they aren't actually connected formally. Sorry to disagree with you Astro but numerology is intimately bound with Astrology, the seven sacred planets, the twelve houses, the 4 elements, the three worlds, the five senses and on and on.
To be a complete astrologer you have to have a good knowledge of numerology.

As an Astronumerologist I see the accuracy and merit of both astrology and numerology. However, I do not think you need knowledge of one to be complete in the other. If it were truly the case that to be a complete astrologer you need to have a good knowledge of numerology we would have many more professionals using both disciplines; currently there are not too many (on the web or in books at least). The vast majority of Astrologers who publish astrology books, studies or articles regularly do not publish articles on numerology (probably because they do not have a proficient knowledge of numerology). Their astrological work is thorough and excellent on its own.
