Hi everyone,

I just joined this community earlier today to get an education on astrology. I wrote an introductory thread and was advised by StillOne (thank you) to post my natal chart. I have gotten really good feedback on it and I am going through a very strange time in my life right now, which an astrologer friend said may be due to a casimi between Mercury and the Sun. Any thoughts on this matter or astrology in general will be greatly appreciated because I have always been strange to those around me and this may help explain. Thanks.

When I looked at your chart I immediately noticed Libra Rising so you probably come off pretty graceful and diplomatic. Next I noticed your Cancer luminaries and that really tight conjunction with Sun and Merc. Unfortunately I don't know anything about a Casimi... I'm quite a novice still. Anyhow, I do think it's pretty profound to have your Sun and Moon so elevated in your chart with one conjunct the MC... in Cancer.

So, I have Cancer Asc and Libra Sun... I was just wondering if you are creative. Looks like your 5th house cusp would be Aquarius, modern day ruler Uranus in the 2nd house of... money. It's also really well aspected by your Sun and Moon and... Saturn in the 12th... This could be a source of strength should it be explored perhaps...

I share Saturn in the 12th with you. There's a thread here on the 12th house that's pretty interesting. Anyhow, yours is the apex of a minor grand trine and a T-square. I find this pretty significant and I think you should investigate some of that if possible.

I would really recommend you repost your chart, making sure to include the tables at the bottom. Just makes things a bit easier to read. You may also consider posting a chart that includes the current transits, as they can illuminate current planetary influences.

I am finding out that yes I am very creative and that is how I make a living BUT I am mechanical engineer(strangely enough) so it is somewhat hidden maybe. My specialty is creative simplification of industrial processes. I am extremely good at physics and math which at least in my circles are considered NOT creative subjects and I am very aloof so many may not see my creativity. What is the significance of Saturn in the 12th?
