Hi all! For the longest time Ive always considered astrology to be bogus. I thought it was ridiculous that a horoscope is put in the paper for twelve different signs for billions of people. Nevertheless, recently I watched a Discovery Channel special on preditions of Nazi Germany. One aspect in the show discussed how a woman astrologer looked at a natal chart of Hitler and described him perfectly about being a leader, causing immense destruction, and etc. That and other aspects of the show got my inquisitive mind to start googling.
Another aspect that I have always been concerned about are dreams. I sometimes have "visions." They are pretty insignificant, but for example.. I may not have seen or spoken to a person in several months. I'll have a dream about them. The next day, I'll get a call from them or see them unexpectedly. I might dream about someone, and they are wearing the clothes that they wore in my dream. When I was about 14, a good friend of mine dad's died.. that night I had a dream about him. I never ever had a dream about him (where I woke up in the morning and remembered it anyway) until that morning he died unexpectedly. Ive had dreams of police and very emotional hardships, and in the proceeding weeks I got arrested for being a stupid kid. Self-fulfilling prophecy perhaps. Anyway, Ive spent the past few days reading about astrology. All of it is pretty interesting as Im trying to decipher the basic meanings of my natal chart.
I have noticed some contradictions such as my elemental Triplicities. My Earth is zero.. and I am a Fire/Water I believe. Research suggests that common sense is not a strong suit for Earth Absence. I laughed when I read this because friends have jokingly told me in the past many times. However, I also have a high regard for personal ambition and money which with an Earth Absence are supposed to be secondary concerns. This also contradicts my Sun in Capricorn which states Im anxious to climb the ladder of success which is entirely true.
My Quadruplicities is high with Mutuable. Again this states Im concerned with people more than personal ambition which I dont believe to be true. However, I NEED people to proceed in my personal ambition, because I will succeed from the failures of others. My main aspirations are economics, professional gambling, and the market. These are just a few nitpicks as Fire/Water and others describe me very well.
I think it will take me a few more weeks to really understand my chart. I think it looks kinda boring. I dont want a full natal report from you guys that I can continue to research on my own. Im sure you have better things to do. I would like to see your opinions though!
