Thanks for the info. 2sb , the astronomically correct data journals stated the Full Moon rises in Virgo (26 deg.) and sets in Libra tonight. You can watch the "supermoon" unlike a total solar eclipse or next month's transit of Venus in front of the sun (5th of June), but old wive's talls has it the last "supermoon"s on Jan. 1 & Feb. 29, 2010 and March 19, 2011 was connected to global seismic activity. The 2010 Haiti and Chile, and last year's Japan megaquakes according to seismologists aren't connected to the moon's gravitational pull to the earth.
