moon sign not clear..

on my natal chart my moon is cancer..
i read about the both of those moon signs, and feel identified with both..
what is the truth?

However, it is important to note that the time the Moon enters each sign on a particular day is not given, and since your chart appears to indicate that you were born after midnight, it is very likely that the Moon changed signs later that day, many hours after you were born. I do not recommend that you follow the advice of the last two sentences in this page if you know your birth time within a few minutes or even hours, since the Moon in your chart is right in the middle of Cancer and the time would have to be inaccurate by several hours in order to change your Moon Sign. However, such inaccuracies, if they exist, would make a big difference on the degree of your Ascendant as well as the house placements of the planets in your natal chart.

is some of the most "wrong-headed" advice I have ever heard in something that is supposedly about astrology. Instead of suggesting going to the MANY free astrology sites (such as Astrolabe or www.astro.com) and finding out EXACTLY where your Moon is, this person prints up a bunch of tables and encourages you to guess at your Moon sign...as if one sign is as good as another in astrology. It is this type of shoddy astrology which gives astrology and astrologers a bad name! Then, after that bizzarre sentence, to actually imply that this loony guesswork has anything to do with developing astrological interpretation abilities is completely ridiculous.

on the surface i thought i had leo influence because i am a very individual charcter and mind, self centerd somtimes and i always stick out in a crowd, i have a lot of touch in arts, and music, and i like to give a lot for people (both materialistic and emotional..)
than on the other hand i belive my moon is cancer.. because i have strong tendencies of behaving liek a "mother" with my friends, making food for them when they come to my house, some even rest at my house when they are to tired to go away and i let them sleep in my bed.. its not that i'm gay or something like that hehe, i realy enjoy my friends and makin' them 'feel at home' and entretain them :60:

You must be careful not to fall into the trap of tweaking your natal chart to reflect how you believe yourself to be. For example, I have the Aries Sun-Moon-Ascendant combination as well as Mercury and Venus in Aries in my first house, yet I strongly feel that I have a sensitive nature despite the bravado and confidence that may be indicated by such an emphasis upon this sign. Therefore I am constantly tempted to move my time of birth back three minutes to give myself a Pisces Ascendant, yet although this is certainly possible, my birth certificate and even several transits I have observed seem to indicate that I have an Aries Ascendant, no matter how much I may desire to change this fact.
