Who is stronger? interesting horary
hey peeps
who wants learning horary?
here is one
Who is stronger Querent or Quested? someone i know is asking about acting skills vs competition
this is competition question
I say QUERENT and here is why
When we look at charts we look at
the strengths and weaknesses of the planets involved.
querent is Jupiter ONLY
Quested is Mercury only
I am not taking moon because it only shows the action
I have to say Jupiter! Jupiter is very strong with strong reception with moon. Jupiter is aslo in 2nd house which ads another 2 points, and it is direct.
What is really interesting and weird both planets are unaspected unless you take antiscia into a consideration.
Where as EVEN though mercury is in angular house but it is in the "enemy's house" it is slowing down to go direct. Does it change a fate? Not really.
Sun is in 1st house - very good it is almost benefitic position since sun is extremly strong in aries where as Saturn retro is in very debiliating condion.
Let's look at what moon does. Moon is tricky here it is antiscia to Jupiter. it is important because Moon rules 5th house - you could look at it as competition of sorts. Then Moon sextiles Saturn lord of 11th house of hopes...... so answer to the question Querent is stronger. Querent gets the wish!
I noticed somthing else
Jupiter is very steady - fixedi and in mid sign - so it is good no changes any time soon.
Mercury will go direct and go into Aries - It may go into MR with the mars
it gets the win over Jupiter
so i am not sure if we need to be going that far
any takes?
thanks

Re: Who is stronger? interesting horary
Anachiel
this was asked today in the morning - too early to know
burlinvermon
Moon squared Jupiter but it is passing but it is not incoming. incoming is antiscia which is sextile/trine
And there is strong reception between moon and jupiter it is equavalent to mutual reception 2 minors = 1 strong one

Tikana,
I don't really have much time to see all the details, so I can't be sure, but I think the quesited is stronger at the time of the question only. Querent has included "right now" at his/ her question this is why I am saying it. Overall, Jupiter is stronger but Mercury has accidental dignity being angular. Why don't you consider Mars and Venus as co-significators since they are intercepted? Venus as co-ruler of the quesited is also stronger than Mars.
And don't forget Saturn in 7th (even though away from 7th house cusp), it could still blur your vision!
Please let us know who won!

Re: Who is stronger? interesting horary
hey thanks Gem
Lilly never used interception
it seems like accidental placement is literally placed there without being perminent that is according to one semi modern horarist.
Merc is in enemy's house i dont know how that is working out.
cheers

If it were a relationship horary L7 in 1st house would be a yes, as it would have to do with unity, L7 coming to the querent. Now, if it is a matter of who will prevail it might be exactly the opposite: L7 in 1st house-querent's "territory", taking over the enemy's house and prevailing!
When do you expect to know the outcome? Saturn in 7th is preventing forum members from giving an answer to this chart

Re: Who is stronger? interesting horary
Hi Gemini
Late fall we will know the answer
Lilly was reading all the charts. saturn in 7th just means something might be looked over. There is no such thng discard a chart. We have a quite few threads on this issue. If you look in 2nd volume, Lilly says in removing from place to place, having a malefic planet stalls all. I cannot close my eyes on Fall/detriment of the Merc and the fact that merc is void is not making things any easier
"The Lord of the 7th in the Ascendant, the party desired loveth best"
If i remember correctly, when a lord of 7th house is in enemy's house, 7th house loses. there is a line in lilly's book when a planet is in its own house, he/she is happy within her/himself. if this is true, that mean he/she is giving up a great majority of power.
thanks for participating in the thread
cheers
