Hello, Clayton.

You have a remarkable configuration in your chart similar to the grand cross. It is commonly called a magic rectangle and it is comprised of two oppositions that are connected by either a trine or a sextile. Your magic rectangle features Venus the planet of relatedness and personal love dignified in Taurus. It is trined by Neptune, which symbolizes boundlessness, transpersonal love, sacrifice, and it is sextiled by Jupiter, lord of bounty, generosity, expansion. The fourth corner of the configuration is Pluto's opposition to lovely Venus. Pluto is the god of the Underworld, our personal unconsciousness, into which we must descend from time to time.

Given the ease of the aspects around the perimeter of this configuration, access to these energies is probably second nature, not one that you would need to think about much. With this configuration, one possible interpretation is that you may likely love easily and without limits, without discriminating. EXCEPT for the excellent help of all your Capricorn placements. We would need some personal direction to go into deeper interpretation of the magic rectangle.

Coming back to Capricorn's discrimination, your Moon-Uranus conjunction ruled by very strong Saturn in Capricorn may make you extremely cautious and reserved. Moon-Uranus can make you gun shy about expressing your feelings or feeling safe sharing your feelings with others, and its square from Mars energizes that reserve. So maybe we would think of Capricorn at the gatekeeper of your love in life and of life.

That is just a very quick pass. Let me know if you might have a more specific question or situation that you are interested to examine.

Re: in need of advice and others pattern recognition

Hello again...I wrote a long response but it was lost in the cyber world. Mainly whats on my mind has to do with relationships. I am extremely emotional every since becoming involved with someone. A loose cannon, I have lost the ability to stay grounded. I was hoping to find out what specific aspects are contributing to this imbalance as to meditate on them and make peace with them so I can focus on my truest desires...my higher desires that are unselfish. I have been a very giving individual who was unselfish. Lately I feel convicted because do to my emotions and the sudden lack of control I feel extremely selfish.

Hi, Clayton.

Another important aspect to your Capricorn Moon [located in a stellium of outer planetary energy and including strong Saturn in its dignity ruling your Moon] is its square to Mars in Aries [also strong and in its dignity as ruler of Aries]. Your Moon, on the other hand, is less strong in the sign of Capricorn. So appropriate expression of your feelings is something that may not have come naturally to you based on your natal chart.

So, what has happened? At the beginning of last year, Pluto began transiting directly over your natal Moon. It retrograded back to it in June and then came directly over it again in December. I wonder if this coincides at all with your becoming involved with someone. In any case, in this time frame, your Moon, with a strong natal Capricornian restriction on its expression, has been pried free of from that influence, from that inhibition. While I agree that an excess of expressed feelings likely serves no one, there is a healthy, balanced expression of feelings that is necessary not only for a relationship to flourish, but also is essential for your personal well-being. It is not selfish.

Transiting Pluto is burning away the misconceptions that you may harbor about the expression of feelings, and this ongoing process may be quite disturbing to you. But Pluto's transformation of your inner feeling life must be allowed expression. I appreciate how startling this apparent lack of groundedness may seem to your Mercury and Venus in Taurus, because feelings are quite something other than grounded. Yet there is something innately in you that understands this, as reflected by natal Mars in Aries in square aspect to your Moon. This is not a contact from which feelings are held in check.

Now, providing additional support to this process of change in your inner feeling life is transiting Uranus squaring your natal Moon and conjoining natal Mars. With its cycle to your Moon just beginning, Uranus is the breaker of old forms, provider of flashes of insight, of intuition from our thoughts rather than from our gut.

You clearly sense that your calling is toward selflessness and humanitarianism, with your North Node in the sign of Aquarius. Mars in Aries makes easy aspects to your nodal axis, offering you support in this effort to find balance, accord and harmony in this new place in which you find yourself. In turn you must show Mars your courage and your commitment to go forward into this new era of your feeling life. I feel particularly hopeful for your possibilities in this endeavor. Just work hard and stay the course. And let me know if you have further thoughts or questions on the matter.

Is anyone knowledgeable of esoteric astrology? Looking into understanding the karmic lessons of my past? I want to know if my ego is blinding me or if my genuine intent is pure as i believe it to be.

Scorpio on the 12th house and Pluto in it suggests that the karmic lesson from your past life or genetic inheritance is proper exercise of power, force, domination. And with that placement, those elements of your psyche and life are held back, not given full expression in this life, as they would in any other house of the chart. Researching about the meaning of Scorpio, and Lord of the Underworld, Pluto, will shed more light on the karmic lesson you are to learn in this respect. This will supplicate Pluto on you part, since digging into things and uncovering the dark, secret truth of the matter is one of Pluto's primary attributes.

Since one of Saturn's attributes is the development of ego, so that we can function properly with others in this world as an adult rather than in a child-like manner, your Capricorn stellium ruled by dignified Saturn will assure this comes to pass. Most especially since it is located in the 2nd house of your personal attributes/consciousness. You just experienced the closing square of your approaching Saturn return to its natal position, so that may be why considerations of ego and egolessness are so strong in you. Ego formation will continue to develop in you until the return at age 28-29.

What thoughts, events or actions make you feel that your ego might be blinding you?

Re: in need of advice and others pattern recognition

Well I have always felt ego control in a reverse fashion. I disempower myself through my perceptions of myself. But underneath lies a voice that know it has power and knows it can do anything like anyone or anything else. I feel my ego take hold of me when I question my own worth or the value of someone elses expression in various forms. It just isn't a good feeling in my heart so I wish to remove it. But I feel like I have given it power by wanting to leave it behind so bad that it swoops in pretends to be dead only to trick me into giving it more room to toil in. Its very interesting its the voice of my father telling me Its not good enough. That im not perfect but I have to be perfect. That explains alot about my early childhood as I was very disempowered when I was young and afraid of my own abilities to the point of not taking action due to fear of the repercussions. Thanks again for your great observations -Clayton

Clayton,

Your description of your father's [Saturn] voice inhibiting you [Capricorn] is a manifestation of your 2nd house stellium. You will never be able to leave it behind, because when we repress stuff, those contents will always rear up at unexpected times, just like you describe. Instead, you have to recognize what is going on in your inner dynamic, the inner criticism, and then make a conscious choice each time not to listen to it, not to follow the negative advice that it gives you.

And when you heighten your awareness to this very real part of you, instead of trying to drive it away, it becomes integrated into you in a healthy way. It becomes a very small proportion to the totality, the whole, that is you. As you continue your practice of knowing that it is not true, that is only something that your father said, it will lose its power and its ability to interject itself into you without your knowing it. And you will have that wonderful magic rectangle that I described in my first post to you above, to give you power and love and good fortune to assist you.

You are on such a healing path right now, Clayton. Stay with it. Astrologically this is such a rich time, with transiting Pluto and Uranus to assist you in transforming yourself, and you are doing a really good job!
