Rahu and Ketu different results ?

Well I have Rahu in 6th in Sagittarius (jupiter in leo in 2nd house)
and Ketu in 12th house in Gemini (Mercury in scorpio in 5th) .

and I am confused on thier outcome , cause every search result on google , or book i refer to has different views on it and views which are completely different or opposite of another ...

Here are some : (For rahu in 6th house) :
1.Sutras 14-16: The native will be tolerant and very happy. If Moon is associated with Rahu or Ketu, the native will have sexual contact with ladies of king's family. He will be poor and a thief. (lol ! typical robinhood style )

2.Phaldeepika: Rahu-The native will be wealthy and long lived. He will suffer from diseases of the anus. He will also suffer from enemies and from the evil effect of malefic planets.

3.Chamatkar Chintamani: Rahu-The native's enemies will be destroyed. He will be powerful, virile and wealthy

Ketu in 12th :
1.Sutras 31-32: The native will have few children and suffer from eye troubles. He will go to hell after death. ( hmm i thought it was heaven)

2.Phaldeepika:Ketu-The native will commit sins secretly and incur expenditure for evil purposes. He will also suffer from eye troubles.

3.Chamatkar Chintamani:Ketu-The native will be like a king. He will incur expenditure on charities. His enemies will be vanquished and he will suffer from eye troubles.



Now if u guys can see all of them are contradictory to eachothers views ..

Thus , I want to know what would the placement of Rahu and ketu in my chart would mean ? (according to signs and houses)

And I forgot to add ,
Rahu gives gud results in arises , taurus , gimini etc..
Ketu gives gud resutls in sag. , libra etc...

but my rahu is in sag. in 6th house trines the lord of 6th house (jupiter in 2nd)
would that mean super bad results ? or gud ones ?

In my studies, Vedic doctrines regarding Rahu and Ketu are at great variance with each other (much moreso than regarding the 7 planets) There is even dispute among the classical authors about where they are exalted, what they co-rule, and where they are debilitated.
Some make Rahu out the bad guy in almost all cases and circumstance, and often attribute positive possibilities to Ketu (actually this is the predominant mainstream-ie Parasara astrology-view) They are both considered to be "natural malefics"; others (a small %) consider Rahu a benefic which can, however, become a functional malefic under certain circumstance; and Ketu is considered generally malefic, although opening the door to Moksha!!
Again, at least in Parasara (mainstream) jyotish is South India, Rahu is considered like Saturn and Ketu like Mars, and many evaluate the placement of Rahu and Ketu similar to "as if" Saturn or Mars is in that placement.

For me, the matter is too complex and there are just too many internal conflicts about the meaning of these Nodes, in the Vedic literature; so, I have adopted the Western views (especially of 13th century Gerard of Cremona) regarding the Nodes, as further developed by certain Modernist Western authors (such as Judith Hill), instead of the Vedic indications.
For me:
a) Rahu is a natural benefic capable of becoming a functional malefic
b) Ketu is a natural malefic and can never be benefic regardless of conditions (the Moksha Ketu can open the door to is the Moksha resulting from complete loss and total destruction of all connections to the World; it is the Moksha of those living naked amid tombs of ancient cemeteries, covered in ash and in total renunciation of all ties to this world or to the heavenly loka's as well)
c) Rahu is like a combination of Jupiter and Venus
d) Ketu is like a combination of the malefic qualities/influences of Mars and Saturn

I repeat that the above is NOT generally accepted Vedic doctrine regarding the Nodes, but is my own take on the literature PLUS my own experiences with these powerful Cosmic foci.

hmm .. yea , you have expressed ur views on rahu being a benefic to me ,
and ur methods are a bit different , but hey ! they always seem to work .

so from ur experience and the methods you follow , how would you associate rahu in 6th in sag. (lord of 6th in 2nd in leo) and ketu in 12th in gemini (lord of 12th in 5th in scorpio) ?

and I would like to know ur views on kal sarp yoga , if I have it or no ?

I'll address the Rahu/Ketu implications in another post; relative to kal sarpa yoga, it does not exist except in certain mundane applications; it has no reference in any of the classics, and I consider it to be a myth, for a number of reasons, except, as I mentioned, possibly in the field of mundane astrology; but relative to nativities, this "yoga" does not exist at all (from my studies in the Vedic astrological field)...
