Will I travel to Anaheim, CA this summer?

Background...Would be for a conference and (hopefully) I would be able to meet a few longtime online friends. I reside in Florida.

This looks pretty bad:

I am Mercury Rx (Staying put)
No aspect between signifiers
Dragons Tail in 12th house but conjunct ascendant (Bad luck??)

So all that tells me No. Not just no but "Absolutely not."

My confusion is that everything is in place for this. The money, opportunity, timing, and support fell into my lap and are lined up. I cant see what would stop me.

So I guess I understand the No - but I am looking for a little clarification/expansion on this issue - or to see if I am overlooking anything that should make this a "Yes"?

No, for me the SN in the ascending sign says the indications in the chart are unreliable!! So, for what its worth, I would say-re-ask this question again at a later time.
