Kites

Hi so am wondering if anybody knows anything about kites. I have a kite in my chart. My birth time 12:47pm, February 13, 1981. Moon is in the first house. My kite hits My moon in the first, Gemini, then Pluto in libra 5th house, 7th house Sat, planet is Neptune, last house is sun in 9th planet is Aquarius. The moon is the tail of kite.

I have been doing research and most people seem a little lost, so am thinking I may get lucky here.

My birth is New York.

Any takers?

I'd recommend going to astro.com and uploading a chart here from their extended chart selection using the house type you favor (people here tend to use either whole house, equal or placidus). I'd also reduce your orbs to 85% or so since astro uses really wide orbs.

Hi StillOne,

I have attached a copy of my chart. I have a ton of planets in the 5th and 9th house where my kite cross. So it's been a little weird to figure out. My main houses are 5th, 10th then 9th. I used the whole signs.

Neptune in sagi tops your kite and is quite signifcant as it links to your 9th h. Have you travelled a lot? or interested fascinated by other cultures and ways of life?

I look at this structure as one of stability combined with drive. There's enough motivation to get you going where as with a grand trine you may not act on your strengths/talents. Look to where it's "pointing" to find your greatest potential. In this case it would be your gemini moon. So I'm thinking air sign that's a more logical/impartial moon. Your strength could come possibly in the form of rationality?

You have to be a bit careful here as most likely using another house type your moon may be in the 12th house. I would explore that to see what fits.

Interesting Caro, we see the kite pointing opposite ways! Lol. I see the strong point in the trines. The opposition gives it oomph. Since Neptune is aspected by sextiles I see it slightly weaker...

I have traveled a lot through the US. I have lived in several states, am pretty bohemian. I also really enjoy other cultures, and get a long great with different people. I how can become like a hermit after living in a place for a long time. After a year or two of being a hermit I need to move to resocialize with other cultures. On the topic of my moon. I have more qualities of a first house moon. I have read the 12th house in gemini for my moon and it does not really fit. I also understand the moon has to do with the mother. My mother is more 1st house Gemini style in her parent style. It's odd some charts say 12th house so 1st house.

I also know my moon and sun in the kite keep me a bit ground, I think the best was statement was that am pretty much ok with who I am, which I find to be true. I wonder about pluto in the 5th and how that works.

Neptune is in 7th house and the moon is opposite at the bottom. right? or am I going cross eyed.

Yes neptune is in the 7th house. I have heard good and bad things about this. More of the bad related to how I fall in love.

Neptune does get a beating where ever it is in the chart , it would seem.
Mine is in the first so i am a deluded drug addict. Yep.

it aint weak just hard to get to grips with . sounds like you have found a way of dealing with this with time for solitude. but the perfect beautiful partnership alludes you?

Bohemian lifestyle sounds very 9th house sun in aqua!

pluto in 5th can be highly creative - are you? maybe something to explore.sextile neptune - another creative planet! ah!

you have had a recent mars sq to neptune.? only a few weeks ago. anything of significance happen.

Highly creative yes! I can say and not trying to sound cocky that most people have soon stuff I have worked ad wise. I however love doing my own projects, reading and getting lost in my mind, it's very colorful. I think in images. Regarding the mars, neptune hmmm well I recently have made a decision to leave a lover after a year and a half of back and forth, he can could to terms of what he wants. He is a Leo, hmmm Aqua and Leo. So I have been in a bittery mood of put his actions in check. I am wishing to move on but it's a weird draw to each other where he sheepishly let's me know I hurt his feelings but never address the issues. I started dating someone new who is an aqua as well but there maybe an issue or two I can get around, personality is super fitting. I also got an agent in the last 2 months. So it has to be one of those. I also found out my mother is not very happy with my father anymore after 35 years. My sister is also no to happy with her boyfriend after 5 years. So it's a weird change in how I view these happily relationships.

I just read the mars square neptune, interesting I have a project am working with a guy who has a super big ego, sun in the 1st house, Cancer. I am not enjoying working with him, since his style is to tell me how smart he is. I really don't like ego petting. I wanted to work on this project more for the interaction of one of the other partners who quit. The partner that left thinks differently then I do and is fun to have creative think chats with. The one who is running the show has made this project all about him not the public who will use it. It's easy money I work like 4 hours a day tops. However I feel like this job is draining me on my normal freaky yet productive schedule. The last couple of weeks is me sleeping till 10am, normally am up at 8am. Finding till organizing projects to do, or play games just so I don't have to do any work till the last minute. His organization drives me crazy because he really doesn't know what his doing. I am working on refocusing myself and get things I want right now.

I always wondered that myself. When I read about kites I often find conflicting reports of which way the kite "points". I always thought it was the end with the 2 sextiles, but trines are more powerful, right?

I always thought it was that end too. But I never thought about how the other end has 2 trines rather than sextiles. Kind of made be reconsider how I view kites.

I have a kite too. topped by pluto conj uranus in virgo.(10th) this for me is the more dominant end. saturn in pisces at the other end. (5th)I struggle with creative stuff but hope to get there in the end......

how lovely that you have such talent work with it. I think pluto as part of this kite with neptune probably helps to keep it on the ground a little more.

you also have transit of neptune at your MH which is interesting as you say you have an agent. so neptune will change your public image in some way.

some one posted a chart of a singer a while back with a chart similar to yours aqua in 9th - he was always on the road touring.....

mars is in virgo for awhile - so your 4th h I think.(til July)

I think the strongest part of this kite is the moon trine sun. that is a nice easy aspect. however with an air trine it can just float away so nice that you have a bit of oomph from fire even if it is in neptune!!

mars will also have been opposite any pisces planets. I have this but my pisces is in 4th/5th, this was a tad depressing for me, didnt want to go out.

I agree that the Moon is the part to aim for here! I too have a kite aspect with the moon being the "arrow."

if you look at the chart as a picture then the kite flying high in the sky points up a certain way!

the bottom tip is trailing in the wind............

obviously will depend on other parts of chart.

I can see your point. Perhaps I would find more success if I worked on my creativity/idealism in more 2nd house things but I just feel far happier in the 8th house. I guess I like trailing in the wind. (Totally falling into that lazy grand trine stereotype.) :-P

I think the ideal is to find the balance between the two.

the 8th is a very powerful house for a number of reasons so it is interesting that you drawn towards this house.

The moon here and in cancer could be the reason trining both pluto in scorpio and sun in pisces could be the reason. A very strong focal point of the chart.
the 8th is a bit of enigma to me as I have nothing in it!

Are you very intuitive? (trines from moon and sun to pluto in scorpio in 12th!)

I'm very intuitive but mostly just about people's emotions. They may seem upset but secretly I know they're happy. Stuff like that.

Neptune Transit? Lol I totally feel so lost lately. Have no idea what I'm about. Afraid to see what happens when it hits 9°. @.@

the child has a trine in earth. of all the trines this is the better one to have according to writers. it enables this free flowing energy to be grounded so the person can more readily achieve something from the energy.

I would see uranus at the top as very strong in 11th (its natural H) - this child loves being in groups but will be a rebel. venus also here. Saturn in 5th (I have this) encourage to explore creative expression which can be manifested in a number of ways not just drawing/painting. There may be low confidence in expressing 5th h stuff.

S - I have had the neptune transit to sun too. it was hard to stay in reality. At this time I worked at neptune type things meditation etc.
do you live by the sea?maybe you can get strength from being near water.
