can anyone advise me how to read this chart please? I am a bit stuck!

Hello everybody,

I have been trying to get to grips with horary astrology for some months, but i keep getting completely confused! So i was wondering if anyone would be willing to help me decipher his chart and help me get to grips with at least some aspects of horary astrology.

(chart went awol so i have posted the place/time/date details below - sorry!)


The question asked was 'does he love me and will the relationship be a long term commited one?

I am the querent, and I am a Cancerian with Sagittarian ascendant and moon. He is a Scorpio, with Libran ascendant and moon in scorpio. We have known each other for quite some time although the relationship so far has been on a more casual basis, but it is very difficult to ascertain his true feelings, which as a particularly secretive scorpio he tends to keep quite well hidden.

From what i can gather the chart represents me well since the ascendant is cancer. He would be represented by Saturn i think? which seems to represent him well, he is a very solid and reliable person, he very much likes to have routine in his life etc his personality does have alot of saturnine qualities.

However, beyond that i am a bit confused as to the opposition between neptune/venus/moon in the 8th and saturn in the 2nd. Am i right in thinking that there is some sort of reception though since, moon and venus are in Aquarius which Saturn traditionally rules?

Basically any help you could provide would be most welcome.

Uh oh. I think the answer is no. You are signified by the Moon. He is signified by Mars as a potential romance and by Saturn as a potential committed partner. Mars doesn't have anything to do with the Moon in this chart expect that the Moon anti-receives it (doesn't like it), so it cannot be Mars since we know you like that guy.

Saturn receives the Moon (likes it) but it has major debility by being Rx and in detriment. The opposition between the Moon and Saturn is frustrated by Venus. Well, he has feelings for you (the reception) but it's a no to it actually happening with him. Just as well though because, even if you hooked up with him, the relationship would be very difficult to manage (the opposition).

The final lunar aspect is a sextile with Pluto. You'll get over it.
