I asked the question: Will I see him next week?

The Ascendant was kind of early, so it's perhaps too early to tell. His significator is Mars, mine is Venus. He is in the 12th house, which is a dark house. I'm in House 6, which is not the best of houses either.
1) He is completely overruled by Mercury, which is most probably his job, because he is absolutely overwhelmed by it right now. The job is under the sun's beams. No wonder!
2) Venus is very strong in this chart. Oh, I wish I could see my strength!
3) An opposition is coming up between Mars and Venus, which would mean "NO".
4) At the same time there is a big Uranus on the 7th house cusp, referring to some change. What change, I wonder?
5) There is a square coming up between Mars and the Moon (also my significator), so that could be "YES", perhaps.
6) Mars is in Venus's fall. I can imagine that I'm pretty much the last he can think of right now. His head is full of Mercury (work)

Could someone make sense of this?

I was wondering:

It seems that it would be really better for us not to meet next week. The opposition shows that, I think. (But if anyone has a different idea, it's most welcome)

So what is the use of horary if not to warn us. What the stars signify are not fate, but possibilities. Or am I wrong? It would be best to make sure we don't actually meet. We normally meet every week, but I can tell him this week we could skip it, and then nothing bad would come of it, except not meeting.

1 ruler Venus is very strong in dignities - +22. Mars is not strong - and as you say he's peregrine and so feels as if he's in a foreign land, lost and wandering.

His location in the 12th - dealing with 'secret enemies' or secrets of some kind, may be relieved a little for him as Mars travels on and on reaching 24deg he will be in his own Term.

The Moon's aspect suggests you will meet though. First, Moon trines Fortuna and then squares Mars in an applying aspect in 7 days.

There may be some difficulties or challenges attached to arranging the meeting or to the meeting itself because of the square aspect - and because there is only one sided reception by Moon of Mars (by Triplicity) with no reception by Mars of Moon to ensure perfection is easy.

Also, Mars is approaching the Asc and in 7 deg will be moving into Libra, the sign on the Asc. This to me suggests that you will meet, yes. __________

I wish things would become a bit lighter soon!

What about that opposition between Mars and Venus? That's what scares me most.

And there is another thing. Mars is retrograde. It won't turn back until May. So it won't reach Libra any time soon.

In the chart, the actual orb is too wide to give a definitive opposition and Mars is not yet Rx - but I see what you mean - the opposing aspect between them will perfect on 2 Feb which isn't far away - so this means meeting will be effected only by the square aspect between Moon and Mars - with difficulty and with one sided reception only - the meeting will be difficult either to arrange or when it occurs. True. Rx can mean the aspect speeds things up - except here Mars is moving slowly. But there's still the Moon aspecting Mars.
There's Uranus to consider, too, in the 7th. He could change his mind or be involved in sudden changes which could prevent the meeting or make it at least more difficult to arrange (as per the square)._____
