Chrion doesn't seem to get a lot of press because it seems like it may be just getting discovered in the sense of books and what not. I know it is the planet of healing, so I like to explain that this is likely where we were injured and how you can heal. Cafe Astrology has some stuff on Chiron. I'm sure if you posted in the section of this website concerning books or looked on Amazon, you could find a book about it.
Concerning the North Node (sometimes called True Node) is absolutely something I look at and something I suggest gets attention. NN tells us what our dharma is...our path for this life. The sign directly across from your NN is your South Node and that can tell us our karma. So when someone conjuncts your South Node, it is past life stuff. If it's Venus or Sun...past lover. Jupiter is likely a parent or teacher. The other great thing to keep in mind, is if you meet someone in the same sign as your South Node, you know that it's past stuff. More growth would be had if they fell into NN because that would be new to you, kind of thing. And then if you meet someone with the same NN as you (it is based on year you were born, more or less) then you know that you share the same path in life. And that can explain both a lot of positives and hardships. But all for growth.
You are probably wondering how you find the paths...
There is a book based completely on NN. It's great. When I read all about my NN, things really opened up for me. It took a lot of reading and re-reading and contemplation but once I got it, I really got it. The book is by Jan Spiller. I don't know if I'm allowed to post the name here.
The other thing I love about NN is that if I meet someone with a Sun sign as my NN, I know I'm on the right "path".
