I miss Tikana

The Tikana was one of the best horarists I've encountered. A stickler for traditional, outspoken, controversial and confrontational, she rocked my horary world.
meat and potatoes, peanut butter and jelly with a peppermint oil icing ~ but I valued her and read every post she made in horary.
Sometimes the nail that stands out gets hammered down.
Tikana was the hammer and nail of horary forum.
I got into it with her once and she stood strong in her reading. Half a year later (or more) I realize that her reading was spot on.
I hope she's thriving, making money from her mad skills in horary and art.
If you get the chance, check out her old posts and art (on show off board).
I can honestly say she helped me, in our brief crossings, to learn and appreciate.

There are a few excellent Horary astrologers on here but Tikana was one of the best. She and I had personal emails going back and forth in October, I guess she got tired of all the politics and the few "know it all" posters on the forum. We have lost a lot of good astrologers over the last couple years, it's really a shame. Hopefully the rest will stick around.

I miss her too, the board quality has gone down with her absence. She told me that she got tired of the way the board was run, but maybe she will re-appear and speak for herself.

I didnt get tired of how the forum is run. I got tired of the bs on the forum. Vista is absolutely right. We did lose good astrologers AW a lot of quality went down. My main reason for leaving was i got somethig big that fell on my lap. I was aware of it but i didnt know how big it is and how rare it is and it flipped my life upside down and in and out which requires me to go back to school and seriously perfect the craft. AND YES i did see in my natal chart and transits were pointing to something earth shattering and it is about to happen i didnt know the reason. I never saw myself doing this at all! it is making a lot of sense why things happen the way they did.

I looked at my chart as i would anyone else's

Okay here is the rundown
first thing i looked at was the eclipses which happen roughly every 6 months
on nov 25 there was solar eclipse which was at 2 sag which landd in my 4th house
SE sesquadrated my Jupiter which rules my 5th and it sits in 9th
Lunar eclipse happend on dec 10 - 18 gemini which ended up in my 10th
LE sesquadrated my Uranus lord of 7
LE semisquared Saturn lord of 6th
LE squared Venus which rules my 3rd and 10th
So i went into transits to see why eclipses are so prominent in angular houses
Venus has no aspects incoming from slow planets
Uranus got very interesitng stuff..natally it is in 3rd house
Saturn conj Uranus
Jupiter opposes Uranus
right off the bat SCHOOL came to mind - structured expansion
neptune trines uranus - Very interesting
natal saturn has jupiter squaring and uranus trines and jupiter squares
i began to look at the rest of the chart
Saturn conj merc - AHA - again school comes to mind since merc rules mind and studying
what really nailed was Pluto sesquadrate to asce - pluto is on the border between 2/3 .. plus pluto square pluto.. and pluto sextiles my sun my chart ruler.. I knew i was in a long haul on this
so we have transit pluto from 5th house aspecting asce
too many connections between merc/jupiter from big planets
then uranus semisquare asce
I turned to progressions
and was kind of pleasantly suprized
Pro moon sesquads Merc
mars lord of 9th trining merc
pro sun trining jupiter
pro asce conj venus
pro sun trines jupiter / sesquads saturn / semisquares uranus
pro merc trines asce
Too much of 3rd / 9th house involved.
i didnt see a move but to speculate on a travel? I DOUBTed that.. wayy to much of travel involved.
sooo school ws just screaming out on this ..
this is how i figured out i would be going back to school for some kind of reason

Out of curiosity i run through June june that is when finals begin
on may 2nd - Solar eclipse lands on 00 Gemini
semisquare Jupiter
Lunar eclipse on june 4th - lands 14 sag
conj Neptune
again 10th/4th house are involved.

Saturn opposes Jupiter
Neptune semiquares jupiter
uranus trines saturn
pluto still sextiling sun and sesisquadrates asce
uranus sesisquadrates asce
saturn sextiles asce
jupiter squares asce while conj mc
saturn conj merc
north node conj neptune
this is some big there there too

so looking overall it looks like a shock state of things at the beginning but things setttle after 2nd eclipse.

use this formula and you will get a clear picture what is going on

Solar Return from birth location and relocated both failed misrably as usual
