Am I eligible right now for the US visa?
Question:
My question as I phrased it is "Am I eligible right now for the US visa?".
Data: 10 January 2007, 1:20 pm (GMT+2), Cairo - Egypt (30n03, 31e15). I got the ASC at Taurus 24:40.
Background:
I am currently working as an associate auditor and business consultant. In order to boost my career, I need an estimeed certificate in the field of auditing. The CPA degree (certified public accountant) is the most highly regraded title in the field of auditing worldwide. The issue is that I can only sit of the exams in the United States.
I talked to my uncle (who's also my boss) about thinking of sitting for the CPA exams. He pointed out the issue of visa. See, as citizens of a country from the underdeveloped world and one that is also linked with religious terrorism, we Egyptian have a hard time getting visas to enter dveloped-world countries. I, however, traveled to many countries in Europe throughtout my life, so I never thought that this would be a problem for me until my uncle pointed out that it might be. And while I may not be even able to sit for the exams for a year or two (I need to study a lot!), I would like to know how I stand on the US visa issue in order to work on it if I turn out to be ineligible. So, if you took a stab at this and found me ineligible, please tell me why and how I can work on it.
My own take on it:
I don't like to work on my own horaries, but I'll try to be a good forum member and give it a shot as our moderator Draco finds it beneficial.
So, Taurus rises, so I'm signified by Venus in Aquarius in the 10th house; on top of the cusp to be exact. I guess this is quite descriptive since The whole thing's goal is to boost my career *and* the horary was inspired by my boss.
The visa, the US and the CPA degree all belong to the 9th house. The cusp is in Capricorn, a sign flavoured by work and career. The significator is Saturn Rx in Leo in the radix 4th (the turned 8th from the 9th).
The Moon, a co-significator of me and the question, is in Libra in the radix 5th (the turned 9th from the 9th).
Venus is received by Saturn by sign and triplicity. Venus has minor essential dignity by face. The Moon is received by Saturn by triplicty and has minor essential dignity by face. The Moon is also received by Venus by sign and face. Both Venus and the Moon have high accidental dignities in the radix and turned charts, Venus by being in the 10th and 2nd and the Moon by being in the 5th and 9th.
So both my significators are received by the quesited significator. But they are both not particularly essentially strong. Their strength is more accidental. And they are even more accidentally dignified in the radix chart than in the turned chart.
Saturn is horribly debilitated by being in detriment, retrograde and in its turned 8th house. It only has accidental dignity in the radix chart by being angular in the 4th. It is received by Venus by term.
I see no application or translation or collection of light. The reception of Saturn to Venus and the Moon is strong and implies that the visa people will like me, but with application, I don't know if that's enough.
Also, the significator of the quesited is a natural malefic in detriment. What could that possibly mean? Will they give me a hard time? What about the little essential dignity of my significators? Is it enough?
The 10th and 4th house rules why and how respectively. I wanna use them, but I don't know how. I mean, does the 10th house rule why they I am eligible or why I'm not eligible? Also, the ruler of how is the Sun and it is also received by Saturn. Does this matter?
One last thing. Mercury rules communication and everything related. Does it matter that in this horary it is combust or is this irrelevant?
Any insights are welcome. I need all the help I can get because even if I'm in eligible, I could start working on it. I apologize for not posting an image of the chart. I'll post it once I'm how because I can't do it from the computer I'm using right now.
Thanks in advance.
