In placidus house sytem they have intercepted houses/signs but in Equal that isn't possible. again it comes down to house systems. Equal is much much simpler espec for beginners

For me pisces/neptune rules your 5th, did you read my post or skim it? are you telling me that you really cannot identify with my earlier posts??

1 out of 10planets only was would be considered very small and lacking, what tends to happen is that you may have planets in *earth houses* or Asc to help compensate for these..

Singleton planets
“If a planet happens to be the only one in an element, quality, or house type, that planet is a Singleton and it can funnel all of the “energy” of the horoscope. This planet is often the most important one in the horoscope. In other words, if you just interpret the position of this one planet by sign, house, and aspect, you will get to the “heart of the horoscope”. The effect is the same as if that planet were the only one on one side of the chart.”

(There is a book out by Shirley Lyons Meier, "Elemental Voids, More than Meets the Eye", which gives a good discussion of missing elements.) The Inferior Function can be a source of great motivation and creative expression.

Oh yes, I can definitely identify with your earlier posts , especially having the ruler of the 6th in the 1st. It's just that when I look at the differences b/w Equal and Placidus, I identify with the latter much more. This is not to say that I don't identify with Equal at all...if fact, I have almost identical placements between both.

For example, as I mentioned earlier, I "feel" like I have Pluto in the 12th, which the Equal house confirms. However, I know that I have Venus in the 9th because that would mean that the "ruler of my 7th is in the 9th", and I have ALWAYS been attracted to men (and people in general) of foreign cultures....never dated within my own culture. Equal house puts Venus in my 10th, which may be good but I just can't identify with it as much.

With regard to the 5th house, which was the original reference, I don't really know that I can feel Neptune (Equal house) there either. This would mean "ruler of the 5th in the 2nd". Could this lack of identification be because I don't have any planets in the 5th house? It's strage because I am an aspiring actress, which is 5th house activity, right? I really do appreciate your insights, so please don't take my Virgo inquisitiveness the wrong way ....

With Equal house (and whole sign) they are the OLDEST and most reliable of house systems..

Throughout the forums but mainly in natal astrology there are two main branches Placidus (unequal size houses) v Equal House (whereby each house is same size) but lots more……. For more information on these go here.

It's only with study and research will you be able to assess where your planets are deposited and in which houses... thus see which 'glove fits'

Ruler of the Fifth House in the Second House

In Equal and placidus mars rules 6th and placed in1st, so use the above site to research ALL house cusp rulers and how the link in
That's why I said some...
"The traditional system of rulership was limited to the seven planets observed by the ancients; in more modern times, it has been revised to include Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. The following is the system observed by most modern astrologers:... Scorpio - Mars / Pluto" (Larousse Encyclopedia of Astrology)
