natal chart interpretations
I want my charts interpreted
I would like to know what some of you think about my planets, signs, houses and aspects
Two charts below, one is tropical the other sidereal. Both with equal houses.
You all can change the house system to whatever you prefer.

Whole house system is one for sure that doesn't make much sense to me but i'm open to whatever you all think.

Re: natal chart interpretations
Thanks for the link but I'm asking people to interpret my chart(s) not house ideas.
Now what I mean about my original post is when I interpret my chart using the whole sign house system it moves allot of my planets up (from house 9 to 10 for example) and it doesn't make sense to me in regards to the house characteristic descriptions. Ex- Jupiter, Neptune, and Mercury in the 9th house makes more sense to me because I think it describes my overall character better than these planets in the 10th house. I could be wrong.

I understand jamescondor! Do remember that chart analysis is generally then followed by chart synthesis - focusing on only one house of the natal chart is a small part of the whole story. A natal chart is not completey delineated that swiftly!
The links at http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum...t=42613&page=4 and http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum...ad.php?t=42163 are good for reliable explanations of how Whole Sign houses are correctly used.

Basically, James, you need to choose the house system that seems to work best for you; not only for your own chart but in the charts of others that you study (that is if you are an astrologer and do peoples charts that you know). And JupiterAsc is trying to provide you with sites for you to see for yourself to understand and choose what you would prefer.
If you can, you should check them out. They are very interesting especially if you are interested in study.
Thanks.

Re: natal chart interpretations
Dear James:
Me again. Hi. OK, this is my advice. Go back to "Astrologer's Community" at the beginning of the forum, (you can click on it from right here above on upper left), then go to "Recommendations". There it will list a bunch of threads but at the top you will see approx. 5 "stickey's". One in particular is called "Your favorite Astrology Sites" written by Arian Maverick and this is where I think you should check out at first. The site I like the best is the "Cafe Astrology" where there are free charts, one the natal, and then there are sub-sites there that can help you analyze your natal chart by your planets, houses, aspects, etc.; you'll love it! Once you see all this info yourself then you can come back here and ask whatever specific chart question you have. Most of these astrology sites use the tropical/placidius systems just so you know.
I hope this is helpful to you as there is just too much info to go into with your question. Sorry again for my 'retarded post' from before. I hope you and your family had a nice turkey day!
Blessings,
Serafin5

Re: natal chart interpretations
Hi James:
Your question re: your chart, its signs, planets, etc., is so multi-faceted and the answer potentially long, I could write a book, I would need a little bit more specific question to break it down a bit if you dont mind. OK?
You're sweet.
Thank you Serafin5

I use Equal House system (where each cusp is same as Ascendant) and am a modern astrologer. Lots of newcomers come into Astrology/forums and get a free chart from www.astro.com and the default ‘house system’ used is Placidus and think that’s just the norm and all there is……..BUT that is just the tip of the iceberg. You can change the default on astro.com in Extended Chart selection to Equal house and a few others if you wish to experiment…..
Within the mainstream here on AW of placidus/equal houses (the default on astro is placidus) only difference being some planets may move from one house to another thereby altering it's interpretation and it's 'only' with research will you find which planets 'fit you' in which houses. So my advice, do two charts, research any planets that move houses and see which you identity with - simple
Throughout the forums but mainly in natal astrology there are two main branches Placidus (unequal size houses) v Equal House (whereby each house is same size) but lots more……. For more information on these go here.

It's only with study and research will you be able to assess where your planets are deposited and in which houses... thus see which 'glove fits'
some members tend to spam the forum about Traditional or Modern astrology to, not just house systems.. the main difference being Trads don't use 'outers' namely Uranus, neptune and Pluto. there is an ongoing debate if you want to read up....
are outer planets generational or personal

AND of course non of this is addressing OR answering your questions
You can get an immediate chart interpretation from astro.com. From ‘free horoscopes tab look for free 'personal portrait' interpretation of a natal chart in the free horoscope section, you simply put the cursor on a planet and it brings a pop up box to explain what it means to have a planet in that house and any other aspects it has to natal planets. plus a six month free transit report in 'short report' Robert Hand gives a valuable in depth explanation of transits here – only slight objection I have with astro, is they use orbs of upto maybe 10' approaching, exact and departing. So most transits seem very long in effect. I use more realistic orbs of 1' approaching, 1' exact and 1' departing.

Sometimes these quincunxs are obvious and recognised in personality, other times it can take a lot of self examination to identify with the planets energies and of course they (like all aspects) don't operate 100% of the time, they are simply a facet of your personality. Some say they cause health issues that are unresolved, underlying, dormant waiting to be triggered.... some say you stay at one end, to the detriment of the other, OR end up see-sawing between the two until you learn balance, integration of two unlikely pairings.
Next look at the signs, then houses and then aspects. Now the *others aspects* from these Yods as they can act like escape routes, that can help or hinder the expressions. A chart with lots of Yods (Finger of God) will always be *searching* for the divine answers to the meaning of life, to find synthesis
If someone has the ‘generational Pluto sextile neptune’ (born after 1940) then there is always a possibility of creating a temporary Yod with quicker moving planets, progressions, solar arcs even and difficult situations where you could be forced into making decisions and worrying that you have made the wrong one. Saturn, Uranus are generational to and unless these two fall in first quadrant (the most personal) the may not even be felt if they create a temporary Yod…this could be *transformation through suffering* type aspect
Thread by R4ven on Yods
Quote:
Some of what you may feel/experience are: - things which happen out of the blue, and these things affect us, but are not created by us.
- being faced with impossible choices, but where we are forced into choose something
- a feeling of having been wronged in some way, and that we `don't deserve this' to be happening to us.
- feeling like we're on a continual search for something in our lives, although we don't know what this `something' is.
- well-made plans being interrupted, or even hijacked totally
- difficulty in coping within formal education systems - eg. as in being given limited time frames in which to complete tasks (this can create high stress levels in anyone with a yod)
- the yod itself does not provide any clear direction in life.
- those with unaspected planets will have difficulty in using it effectively when put under pressure.
- walking a different path, feeling `different' from others can lead to deep feelings of insecurity, and perhaps even believing themselves to have been `born into the wrong family'. (This one freaked me out a bit, since I spent much of my childhood believing this...)
- with an unaspected planet, in childhood the over-developed effects of the planet may be suppressed in some way by parents. (eg. my brother has an unaspected `duet' between Mars and Jupiter. As a child he `bounced off the walls' and was a real handful. My mother took him to the Dr and he was put on some kind of sedative to calm him down. Eventually he became a successful athlete, and so this became a channel for his excessive energy.)
- unconsciously developing towards future activities - perhaps over a period of years - without being aware of this.
- a sense that one is a Spiritual Warrior, as you find that what seems to satisfy others in life in no way is satisfactory for you - that you are searching for `something more'.

Re: natal chart interpretations
moon quincunx mars suggest your mother was the bossy mother alive, if this does't apply then the aspect comes down to you. Moon rules first 5years of life, home and domestic matters.
Moon Quincunx (Inconjunct) Mars
Quote:
Learning to be emotionally consistent is harder for you than for most people because your feelings and desires cover such a wide range of possible expression. Your manner of self expression can inadvertently add weight and encouragement to components of your personality that you actually wish to minimize or even transform. It takes much experimentation with relationships in order to have emotions that serve your higher needs rather than just running amuck on their own mission of blind, disconnected expression. Either artistic or idealistic goals are necessary to achieve satisfaction
http://www.cafeastrology.com/natal/quincunxinterpretations.html
|
“shows that you lack self‑control in expressing your feelings. You tend to misjudge people and to form binding alliances with individuals who take advantage of your indulgence. Even when others abuse and misuse you, you never raise a hand to defend yourself. You feel powerless to oppose the oppressive demands that people make of your talents, and when they exploit you, you are bitter and disappointed. Your greatest problem is to resolve the conflict between your desire to be useful to people and their expectations that you will make up for their deficiencies.”
From the book ‘Aspects and Personality’ by Karen Hamaker-Zondag
This is not a true quincunx as moon is aries and mars is libra which are oppositions by signs, but 150' aspect...so this may be easier to deal with this...
going back to just the natal you have a packed 9th house, so you *should* be into all saggi 9th house matters.

Re: natal chart interpretations
Moon Quincunx (Inconjunct) Pluto
You confuse intensity with desire, and need with love. As a consequence of this, your relationships with others (especially romantic partners) can be powerful and "spicy" without engendering much closeness. It takes time for you to recognize the habits that get in the way of intimacy; it takes time to alter them once recognized. Letting go of negative history lays the groundwork for change. Give others permission to be different than everyone else has been before. Through this, you give yourself permission to be different.
http://www.cafeastrology.com/natal/quincunxinterpretations.html
“indicates a personality that it precariously balanced. You must learn to temper your emotional compulsiveness with objectivity. You may have assumed that to gain anyone's love you must submit to them. Thus you overreact to other people's demands. You wrongly believe that those who use you must care for you in some way. But submission to another only earns you contempt. You have to unlearn old habit systems and develop new ones to avoid being. You will be at the mercy of others until you gather the strength to say no.”
From the book ‘Aspects and Personality’ by Karen Hamaker-Zondag
Aries quincunx signs are Scorpio and Virgo.
Aries is very straightforward, what you see is what you get, calls a spade a shovel and is very direct and to the point, rather impatient and impulsive, soon to flare up soon to flare doesn’t hold grudges. Very good at starting things, motivating people and starting projects but not good at finishing them, not very good with money either except spending it. Aries belongs to a group of 3signs which values it freedom and independence very highly. Sagittarius and Aquarius other two.
Now Scorpio, definitely what you see is not what you get, very secretive, private and plays its cards close to its chest. Extremely analytical, great for research and ferreting things out but 100% wants control and will use any tactic to get it including psychological mind games and emotional manipulation. Scorpio will never understand why if you are in a committed relationship, would you want freedom and independence! Definitely won’t appreciate you blurting things out and telling everyone their business.
Although its easy to see why these people get together, because they are both highly sexed signs. In fact Aries is joint second place with Taurus, but Taurus is much more romantic and affectionate and loving, Aries wants quantity and Taurus wants quality.

Re: natal chart interpretations
A50-I got all the links you sent me. I have to do some more personal research with all the information I've been reading. I didn't forget that I asked you to read my charts before and I appreciate your feedback.
I do identify with what you said about my pluto mars conjunction and how that I require allot of physical exercise but I don't do any extreme sports like you asked. I also identify with what you said about my venus conjuct uranus aspect in that I require personal freedom and don't like to be tied down. I can relate to some of my moon quincunx mars aspect in that my it is difficult for me to be emotionally consistent but I do not lack self control in expressing my feelings. I also relate to my moon quincunx pluto in that I may confuse intensity with desire and need with love. It all very usful information. I need time to look it all over and relate to my personality.

Re: natal chart interpretations
A50-as far as career,
After high school I could have studied anything really but I graduated college with a BS, major in business and minor in philosophy. I delclared business my major because I really couldn't decide what I wanted to do and I felt I had to choose a major asap and it seemed appropriate at the time.
I spent way more time studying philosophy than business but business for the most part was easier.
Here are all the jobs I have wanted at one point in my life (at least as an idea) since I can remember-
Military, physical education, health person, police (FBI), psychologist, writer, college professor (English, psychology, history, philosophy), musician (I play multiple instruments), actor, mailman, government work of some kind.
I just want to get paid to do something I like (like everyone right). I feel that I can do any job if I can get my foot in the door. At this point I aspire to have full time employment with good benefits. I've been living paycheck to paycheck for years and I've been unemployed for over a year. I don't know exactly what my options are. I have friends and family to depend on for a few things. I don't have much money. I just keep searching and trying, weighing my options.

I spent way more time studying philosophy than business but business for the most part was easier.

for questions like, "When will I get a job" or "will I be successful within six months at getting a job." these types of questions are best asked using horary.
Astrology can explain lots of things, especially regarding your personality, traits etc but it's entirely upto YOU to make changes in your life, you are the captin of your ship no-one else. Knowing astrology is not going to change you or do this for you! We all have to go through rough transits, to learn and to grow as a person, so in that regard you are no different...
It's always worth posting your natal, progressions AND transits [for me at least], as this give us a much fuller picture to work with - found in Extended chart selection on astro. I reduce the orb ratio to 85%
Astrology is not about sitting home on the couch eating nachos and waiting for the planets to make good things happen in your life. It is always your responsibility to work towards making your own dreams come true. Horoscopes simply help you to schedule your actions for the best possible outcome
