Re: The fear of becoming a wandering vagabond..

Hi Fullmoonlibra. I haven't time to do your chart justice, but I thought I'd share a few ideas about it.

That T-square involving Moon, Mercury and Neptune probably says a lot about your witing talent, and I would encourage you to keep that up in some form even if your vocation doesn't provide adequate scope for it. It sounds like a good configuration for photography too.

I don't see this as a problematic chart, to be honest. Your sun rules your ascendant from Taurus in the 9th, perhaps reflecting some of that wanderlust you describe, but also the desire to be useful to people through doing charity work along the way.

Mars is looking good in Capricorn in the 5th sextiling Jupiter and Pluto, with Pluto in the 3rd house of communication.

Neptune aspects from Sun and Mars give a desire to help others, but perhaps cause you to have idealised goals for yourself.

I have to go now, but in short this chart can do a lot, I feel.

Re: an empty life: high ideals and no progress :(

Even though I'm not very experienced with astrology just yet, I will give you what I know until someone a little more informed comes along to help you out (sometimes... it never happens here..).

First off, you have a splash chart. Right from the get-go you're going to have a difficult time focusing yourself on any one project. "Frayed" is a word I've come to use. It sort of feels like you have a ridiculously frizzy head of hair that only stays in one hair-do for a day, then springs back to messy and refuses to do the same thing twice.

Second, I think your views on what's causing your predicament are a little off, too. Mars in Capricorn gives you that drive to be in a position of authority/fame.

Third, not having planets in a house doesn't mean you lack interest in that area of your life. For instance, you have Virgo in the 2nd House. Do you spend a lot of time researching things before you buy them to ensure you get the most value for your money?

Fourth, the only thing you should be concerned about is Saturn retrograde in the 5th House. When you're sitting around trying to come up with something artistic and you just end up staring into space, you can thank Saturn for that. You'll need to start from the very beginning. Learn the basics; foundations are very important for Saturn. It will take you a very long time to learn to express yourself. But when you do, because Saturn has built up such an extensive framework, you can be GREAT with whatever field you choose to pursue.

When it comes to writing, try not to let Mars butt in too much. Your Moon in Libra will naturally enjoy the company of others when writing. Try to bounce ideas off someone like a close friend. Try to focus your logic and your emotions in the same place. It might be a little difficult with the Moon being opposed Mercury, but that's the joy of having Saturn in the 5th House: Hard work.

Also, ignore transits for right now. If you want to do something, don't wait for a successful transit to do it. Just go.

And to make you feel better, my chart is even more frayed than yours is. At least you made it to college to fail. I never even tried to apply!

Re: an empty life: high ideals and no progress :(

A splash chart can mean versatility, it doesn't necessarily mean 'aimless wandering' or being unfocused/scatterbrained. Venus in the 10th (the tenth is the 'career' house, not the sixth) obviously points toward a career preference in the arts or something involving beauty. The sign Taurus is ruled by Venus and naturally inclined towards the arts too.

The fifth house is more than just children. It's also creativity, in general. The fourth has to do with the home, yes, but it's also a water house, and water has to do with emotions which obviously figure prominently in creating as well.

Honestly - your chart pretty much screams that you're naturally suited towards the arts, why you think that isn't the case, I don't know. And with Taurus figuring prominently in your chart, a sign that's associated with fixed determination and stubbornness, if you set your sights on accomplishing that there's nothing that can stop you.

Re: The fear of becoming a wandering vagabond..

Leo does crave to be centre of attention, and I can see why higher education appeals with chart ruler posited there.

Now taurus/venus,ruler of MC posited in 10th does suggest venusian, taurean matters. Now having a stellium in taurus, we are renowned for beautiful things, clothers, jewellry, handbags etc. This venus is practically unaspected with just a trine to moon [which is a singleton to] so it's struggling to find expression.

You will probably rise to a position of authority within your career and you could have a strong desire to be your own boss. An authority figure, perhaps even your father, influenced your career or your attitude towards it.

second issue I see mars is conj neptune, even though mars is exalted in cappi, neptune may well sap this energy and drain it..

mars conj Neptune
“This conjunction can pose several difficulties: in choice of actions, where you may struggle to establish what your real aims are; in making that final decision to attempt to achieve them, and in ensuring that suffiecient and persistent effort is then made to guarantee success. An unintegrated Nepune can dissolve that focused will, making decisive clarity difficult to maintain. Additionaly, you tend to avoid accepting the consequences of your choices, and there can be a refusal to acknowledge responsibility when such actions lead to failure or negative results.”
http://astrology.astrozoom.com/index.php?title=NEPTUNE_PARALLEL%2C_CONJUNCTION%2C _SQUARE_OR_OPPOSITION_TO_MARS

This is why you can't stay focused on finished your studies...

now mercury is square mars adding argumentativeness and square to neptune keeps *losing the plot* reading to much between the lines, is a daydreamer and fantasiser. This could be good for 'creative writing' due to good imagination.

Add to this your chart lacks the air element, which tends to make 'sweeping statement syndrome' for for effect or to get a reaction....

mercury opp moon can suggest to active a mind and poss affect sleep?
Sun opp pluto suggests problems relating to father/men

You may experience difficulties getting along with others until you learn not to be so assertive and defensive when you feel the slightest sense of threat. You must handle situations better when others disagree with your position. This aspect is usually subject to undergo major changes at sometime in life when a psychological realignment occurs. When this happens you become more self-assured and tolerant of others.

Re: The fear of becoming a wandering vagabond..

Middle April 2012 T Jupiter will may just 'one pass' over your MC and this would be great for socialising and career and possible opportunities. This only happens once every 12years, so plan and make the most of it..

Transiting Saturn has been squaring neptune/mars, first neptune may well have caused a depression and seeing your dreams go down the pan, as in your imminent failure at passing your exams...

Saturn square mars creates delays, frustrations, limitations and stop/go situations. this has just happend in July...

End april next year T Uranus will conj natal mercury, setting off mercury's aspects.

It can't be a splash chart because the space between Venus (or Chiron if you include it) is far too wide - maximum 60 degrees.

I don't use chart shapings much, but if you want to fullmoonlibra, then yours is closest to a locomotive pattern.

Re: The fear of becoming a wandering vagabond..

Hi fullmoonlibra. I'm sad to hear that you've had so much frustration over the years. Thanks for sharing in such detail, its very interesting to look again at your chart in the light of your last post and I'd like to tentatively offer a few more ideas about your chart.

I think that your father's influence over you is more reflected by the Sun Pluto opposition, I have seen this aspect before in the chart of a woman whose life was very much controlled by her father until she was in her twenties, and its sadly a typical manifestation of this aspect. The Sun opposite Pluto quote offered by astrologer50 is also a typical manifestation of the aspect but doesn't seem to apply in your case, because your father seems to still have so much of your power. In fact you might find the quote a fairly accurate description of your father in many respects. The fact that the opposition falls across your 3rd 9th house axis reflects the way that his controlhas focused largely on your education.

Also on the theme of education, your Mercury is in the 8th house (Pluto's natural house) and I wonder if transiting Uranus, which has been within a couple of degrees of conjuncting your Mercury including a station (and aspecting your Moon and Neptune too in that tight T-square to Mercury), reflects the disruption to the educational path that you were on.

Also about two months ago, transiting Neptune was stationary one degree from a sextile your Sun, which could reflect a loosening of your father's grip on your destiny.

I usually see the 10th house as reflecting the relationship to the Mother. She is our world when we are first born, and she tends to play the biggest role in socialising us. Becasue we are so connected to her we tend to absorb her unconscious energies - including her unlived ambitions. My guess would be that she also would have liked to have been more artistic, but suppressed that need for some reason. If this is true, then it falls to you to 'break the family curse' and build a shrine to Aphrodite in your life through the artistic endeavour that you already know you want.

You also have Chiron in Gemini in the 10th house too, so the full picture is probably a little more complicated. Perhaps your Mother also had unlived ambitions around education and these have influenced you. Chiron is associated with the healing arts, eg psychology.

If you want to respond to any of this then I'm very interested in whether or not it resonates with you, and also happy to discuss your chart more in the light of further feedback.

Re: The fear of becoming a wandering vagabond..

Hello!

I feel that your sense of endless wandering is heavily triggered by saturn and uranus in sag the 4th house. With such placements I bet you already moved homes a coupla times or even to a different country. This placement (along with the sun and nnode in the 9th house) means that you are going to travel for quite a while before finding a place that you can call home. I also feel that this moving and travel for several times might be triggered by a partner (like moving with a husband out of some sense of duty/responsibility,try not to do it out of guilt!! do it because you want to). I hope you accept and be at peace with the fact that you are gonna be moving for a while till you find the right place to call home.

And i think your chart has alot of positive things, with ur taurus sun and libra moon, you are blessed with the graces of venus!!! on top of that you have a leo rising and moon trining venus,so i believe you are an easily like-able person =) i also see several indicators of creative and artistic ability that comes naturally,u know how to improve and present things more beautifully, and you probably have some sort of singing ability (taurus sun, venus and midheaven as well as nnode on the cusp of aries/taurus),if not then definitely something artistic like interior or graphic design.

also, jupiter in pisces the 7th house can attract some very nice, gentle and generous people/partners into your life! just make sure they dont victimize themselves or emotionally black mail you okay?

hope that was helpful!

Singing ability? Maybe, I sing at home daily. Love it. But in public?? No way!
I can sense your fun and friendly vibe miles away =) and ofcourse girls would be jelous of your venusian grace. take it as a compliment and know that there are genuine ppl who r willing to befriend you for who you are.

Re: The fear of becoming a wandering vagabond..

Saturn in 4th will curtail that wonderlust

Saturn in the 4th house
· Saturn here operates in the latter part of life when its negative aspects are much harder to take. In the roots of the being a selfishness that must be broken up or the dues will be collected in the latter part of life.
· Can gain through real estate and land.
· Possibility of trouble with indigestion due to emotions. The ulcer type.
· Often strong mother complex and a tendency to cling to the past.
· Needs to get away from home in order to get over psychological bias. Appears independent but fears to leave home. Will be happier away from the place of birth.
· Domestic responsibilities or difficulties are likely.
· In childhood these may be the result of others` actions, but adults invariably attract these commitments.
· There is a need for domestic security ‑ often provided by physical ties. Will take great pains to make a secure home
· They would probably have to take on heavy responsibilities from an early age and may have had to struggle for domestic security and will work very hard to provide for your home and family. May have experienced poverty as a child

Uranus in 4th House – Angular house
· They could have experienced an unusual home life or upbringing, or live in an unusual house.
· Close friends may be accepted as part of the family.
· Sudden changes of residence and many changes in family life.
· Your parents will not have a binding effect.
· Not a domestic type and may not want a fixed and settled home life unless Uranus in a fixed sign.
· Unsettled conditions around mother may effect this individual emotionally. Restlessness in the roots of being can cause unstable conditions in life.
· Could collect unusual things, like porcelain pigs

Re: The fear of becoming a wandering vagabond..

problem with saturn and uranus in same house is, people want to make changes (uranus) and break free, but feel stuck (saturn)

When Saturn and Uranus fall in the same sign or house we get caught in a cleft stick, wanting to make changes but fearing to let go of the old

So I decided to follow Human Sciences.

Then, when I was graduated and I had to choose a University, I wanted to do some form of art. It really was and still is my passion! I couldn't decide: graphic designs, juwelry designer, film industry, music... I had no base, so I didn't know where to start, I wanted to do all of it!
But again my dad said: You have a base in Human Sciences, do something with that. You will not make a penny if you choose arts. You already have the talent, so you can always do it as a hobby when you start working as a doctor or something.
And I listened...

I also cry if I see on Youtube someone playing piano. When I was a child I always said this: When I'm grown up I'm going to buy a huge piano and going to take piano classes. This because it was always said to me that I can only practice it after University.

It touches me that I didn't follow THAT pad.
The feeling of failure was so bad these two months, that I couldn't bare it, and I said that when my results are explained in September, I'm going to do such crazy thing that will compensate my failure. I thought of fulfilling the dream of travel and doing photography. But I couldn't speak this out at home.
It sounds as though although (thankfully) your father is not the stereotypically negative Pluto type, that he has a great deal of influence over you nonetheless. The trine from Sun to Neptune reflects your fathers Piscean side, and the Piscean bond you feel with him - and your reluctance to disappoint him and therefore burst the bubble of your relationship with him. But my hunch is that you will have to burst that bubble in order to get fully in touch with your Sun and your destiny.

Of course the Mother can carry the Sun too to some extent, but I think it can be the more subtle influences from your Father may be the most inhibiting, because what is there to fight against when the parent is offering devotion and love.

Again all this is speculative and tentatively offered.

Hi. Apologies for labouring the father issues. I can't respond to your post in full because of time, but about T squares- they reflect the drive to succeed more than guaranteed success. Some people don't use their T-square to its full potential because the dynamism turns in on itself due to failure to find an appropriate channel.

I think you will be fine with yours though because you know what you want to do with it.

But thanks to you, I started researching the T - square.
I have read that it's a very important thing in the chart and that successful people only have it. Is it then that important? And is it a prediction to success?
T Squares are probably THE most common aspect configuration in natal charts. What tends to happen, is the empty house/leg, when a transit, progression or solar arc comes along it temporarily creates a Grand Square, which causes enormous tension, but gets you off your backside wanting to resolve problems... so watch for anything between 5-11' Cancer....

Basic astrology
Now basically your sun sign is your 'core beliefs, values, ego' and Asc is your physical body, mode of expression and mask and persona that we all wear and hide behind, but definitely not what's going on underneath. What's going on underneath is your Sun sign. Moon sign, house placements and aspects describe your emotional and intuitive responses, also describes your view of your mother, as saturn describes your father by sign and house position.

So, think of a glass milk bottle the bottle is your Asc and your sun the milk, but the milk still has to 'come out' through the glass neck of the milk bottle....

Now aspects within a natal chart represent 'facets' of our personality, because we are all multifaceted beings. What these do is 'break down and compartmentalise' these facets into smaller bite size chunks. This does take quite a lot of self analysis and objectivity to 'see yourself' and why you do certain things and behave in certain ways. Actually it can be quite good therapy...

Remember back to your school days an opposition is 180', square 90', trine 120', and sextile 60' Now challenged aspects are conj (depending on the planets, cos some like each other and some really don't) squares and oppositions. Easy aspects are conj (if the planets get along) eg: Jupiter conj Moon, sextile and trine. Quincunx is inbetween (depending on the planets) causes health strains and unresolved or hard to balance planets/energies.

have you researched your moon sinlgeton?

jupiter exalted in 7th suggests how we 'expand and grow' within relationships/partnerships and sextile to mars shows you want partners to act in 5th house matters with you. the square to saturn shows slight see-saw, wanting to expand (jupiter) but saturn says, hey you have work next day and cannot party all night..then jupiter square uranus tends to act without enough thought and can sometimes, cut your nose off to spite your face type of thing.

Thanks to you, I know realize that the 4th house doesn't predict good things for me
4th house planets don't *predict* anything, it just explains home environment, family relations. Predicting matters is seen in *transits, progressions and solar arcs*

Re: The fear of becoming a wandering vagabond..

Hi Fullmoonlibra.

Your Pluto is in the 3rd house by the way, but ruling the 4th because Scorpio is the sign on the cusp of the 4th house (the IC).

With something like a T-square, I think its useful to forget that its a T-square initially and just look at the planets involved, leaving out Mars for the moment because it is kind of on the edge of the pattern. Then you can try and get a sense of each planet individually - what are the inherent characteristics of a planet, and how easily does the planet express the qualities of the sign in which it is placed. And you can also look to the house to see where it is likely to operate particularly.

So the Moon symbolises the need for a sense of belonging, safety and nourishment - an urge to flow with the rhythms of life - and a sensitivity to the waxing and waning of that which provides it with security and succour. Libra is an air (thinking) sign, and values that which is civilised, harmonious, fair, and elegant. So Moon in Libra tends to need these things in order to feel safe and emotionally satisfied, and may feel anxious in the face of uncivilised behaviour and gross material forms. There is an instinctive sense of fairness which can involve detaching from personal feelings in order to respond in the most balanced and objective way possible.

Mercury is the urge to make connections - to enquire, to assimilate data in an orderly manner, and to communicate what has been learned to others. Aries values the potency to maintain one's individuality and to initiate things according to that individuality. Mercury in Aries shows a keen mind which processes information in a creative and and visionary way - seeing the possibilities inherent in a situation and asserting that vision through often excitable communication.

Neptune is the urge to transcend the cold and stony material world in which we live, and find a sense of oneness - with nature, God, another person, a work of art, or whatever. There is a need for total fusion on a feeling level, and therefore a sensitivity to collective feelings and yearnings. It seeks an unfocused and empathic dimension of experience, where one can experience some kind of grace or redemption from the pains and frustrations of personal responsibility and free will.

I'll leave the house placements out for now. So putting these three together we can note that Moon and Neptune will get on well, because although this moon may tend to intellectualise feelings rather than just feel them, Neptune and Libra share a sense of idealism and a need for harmony, and the Moon and Neptune share the need to fuse and flow with things rather than struggle to become more individual.

Mercury in Aries, however, may have less in common, having no need of harmony, and desiring only to pursue its intellectual quest.

Initially Mercury in Aries may unsettle Moon and Neptune, who may not welcome the discord that can arise from this Mercury's detached individualism. Mercury may not welcome the limitations placed on its expression by the concerns of Moon and Neptune. There is however scope for this Mercury to speak out on behalf of the Moon's and Neptune's ideals and awareness of others. In terms of writing, the originality, directness, courage and nobility of Mercury in Aries can combine with great effect with the inspiration of Neptune and the instinctively symmetrical Moon.

Bringing in Mars, that would tend to favour Mercury, I would guess because it is Mercury's dispositer and because it has nothing in common with Neptune and doesn't get on well with Libran energy. But again the potential for effective teamwork between these planets is evident, with Mars in Capricorn willing to work hard to achieve desires and objectives.

So one thing to look for in terms of the T-square is finding a balance between Moon Libra Neptune and Mercury Mars Aries. Neptune may exaggerate the neediness of the Moon and therefore make this balance difficult at times.

There's more to it obviously, but one thing I felt like mentioning as I read your last post is that if someone is in a state of turmoil or confusion, finding a multitude of hooks on which to hang every detail of emotional experience will not necessarily enhance clarity. You might want to consider getting a sense of the main themes, subpersonalities, whatever that are dominant in you right now, and then stepping back from the potential maize of data which your chart can provide about you. This is particularly important for Moon in an air sign in close aspect to Mercury, because of the tendency to detach from feelings. I would guess that your Mercury would really rather take a glance at the chart and then fly with it, into the mythic realm where Neptune could also find great satisfaction. But only you know which path is best for you.....

This to me adds restlessness, procrastination and indecisiveness. If only they could make their minds up

to me this adds impatience and impulsiveness and blurting things out

So the challenge of this opposition is to speak quickly impulsively and consider both sides, don't sit on the fence. Libra can be a people pleaser and argumentative and aries is 'self orientated' and is all about me, me and me..

moon square neptune to me is emotional illusions, confusions and disillusionment and problems with mother in childhood, either smother loved or emotional unavailable....

now mercury square neptune is mis-communications, the day dreamer, fantasiser, great for creative writing or poetry. Whereas mercury/aries wants direct no messing around communications, neptune reads too much between the lines, going out and coming in. I have a saying for this aspect, "there's many a slip between cup and lip."

Now mercury square mars can be argumentative and too forceful in speech (on occasions). Now all these aspects simply don't act ALL at once.

Breaking down aspects like this is bit like compartmentalising them, so you can see and recognise these facets of your personality...

like I mentioned earlier your charts lack air and your only planet moon is a singleton. It would need to be to stand any chances against all that fire/action/impetuse/energy....

take your time to digest all these things, it's like learning a completely new language and you can see we all have different styles, presentations and theories of how your planets *may or may not* operate. But it's YOUR chart and you must be able to identify with --- given time.

Yes and 4 to 6 degrees of any cardinal signs, and 20 or 21 degrees of fixed signs can also trigger your T-SQR. The trigger could be a transiting planet (including a new or full Moon), one of your progressed planets or angles, or a point in the chart of a person (or some other entity like a nation or business).
