Uranus ruling 4th house

My Uranus is ruling my 4th house from the 9th. Natally Uranus is in Leo and my 4th House is Aquarius containing my Sun and Chiron. I believe that there is what they call a mutual reception going on. The only thing I can figure out is something strange about home life, origins, etc. and a connection with religion. There are definitely elements of both in my life. Some insight please.

Yes, ura and sun are mutually receiving.

I would say that maybe also having ura in the 9th and ruling over your IC would indicate maybe a far away move from your home, such as a move to a foreign country and maybe an erratic or alternative domestic life (maybe a lot of unexpected moving around in foreign places or some unusual living arrangement).

I'd say planets in the 4th would indicate what you felt while you were growing up. Sun and chiron being there would indicate maybe that you were a "star" at home, commanding attention but maybe there were some hurts to deal with at home or some hurt your parents experienced. It might also indicate parents in general. On a personal level, it shows that you truly express your personality at home and that you are somehow introspective with your personality as well as the healing we do in our lifetime.

Yes you do have a mutual reception which ties together the Sun and Uranus in a way. I have Uranus in the 4th house in Gemini and well aspected. I was given freedom as a child to explore the neighbourhood. I have learned and taught astrology from home and being conjunct my north node is my path this time around. I was rebellious as a child and didnt want to conform to the norm and still dont. OUr house was of quirky architecture and had a lot of anomalies in it. My father has his Venus in Aquarius and he built it.

Inever lived in a foreign country but my high school years and a few years of college were spent in boarding school (actually a Catholic seminary). It was a jolting experience being that I was a naive kid who never had been away from home. As far as traveling goes, I have been a few places but mainly done more travelling with my mind---a geography and history freak. I pretty much was the "star" growing up. I was an only child of older parents and adopted beside. Do you think Moon in 12th can signify adoption? Or Uranus ruling 4th house? It isn't that adoption in itself is so unique, but I have had a lot of protective feelings about this fact (moon in 12th?) and big time feelings of low self worth (saturn in 2nd) which are connected to it--also big time feelings of disconnectedness to other people as a whole.
Speaking of parents having hurts. They both came from alcoholic homes and carried a lot of psycholical baggage over that. They both lived in some kind of idealized world which centered around the Catholic Church. I think religion was a place where they basically found refuge from their hurts.
Chiron in the fourth show my wounds, my parents wound, or the interconnectedness of my wouds and my parents wounds(being in 4th house)?

Well religion is also a 9th house (and 12th house) issue here - so you have both education and religion which makes it very 9th house.

As for adoption, I really don't know what planet or sign rules over that. Does anyone else know? It could be a uranus thing or 11th house thing (I know stepchildren are ruled by the 11th) since you are "different" and feeling disconnected.

Saturn in 2nd could indicate self-worth issues, it could also manifest in knowing how to get by with little money.

The intepretation I gave you for chiron is a general interpretation and it could mean a myriad of things as you have listed but always relates to the domestic scene as it is in the 4th. It should be noted that they sometimes chiron is a "little Jupiter" at times and again, it could link back to your schooling experiences.
