My two favorite Astrology Books!

One is a how-to for making your own chart, and while I feel that it doesn't completely live up to it's title, it comes close:
The Only Astrology Book You'll Ever Need by Joanna Martine Woolfolk.

The other is an exciting and interesting book of case studies from an Astrologer who was famous back in the 70s (i think):

Destiny Times Six by Katherine de Jersey with Isabella Taves.

These books, while not a good place to stop and park for all your astrological needs, are very informative and delightfully entertaining! Has anyone else read either of these?

Yes I have read that book which indeed was very inspiring ...I personally prefer books that provide new insights rather than just repeating the traditional methodology perhaps described in a different way but still carrying the standarized descriptions. Other favorites for me:

Grant Lewi: Heaven knows what and Astrology for the millions;
Also another called Astrocycles written by Vivian [forgot the last name, I think it was Martin] which is highly informative and insightful...my own collection of books is quite extensive and I think it wise to have reference materials on our bookshelves.

I love the following books:
-KEY WORDS FOR ASTROLOGY, by Hajo Banzhaf and Anna Haebler
-DYNAMICS OF THE UNCONSCIOUS: SEMINAR OF PSYCHOLOGICAL ASTROLOGY, by Liz Greene and Howard Sas.

But in my opinion the best book for understanding and knowing astrology better is life for sure.

1. Aspects In Astrology: A Comprehensive guide to Interpretation by Sue Tompkins
2. Astrology, Karma and Transformation: Inner Dimensions of the Birth Chart by Stephen Arroyo

Liz Greene's Astrology of Fate - really had an a-ha moment, it's the most treasured book I have

liked Richard Idemon's 2 books, Through the looking glass and The magic thread

I currently have The Only Astrology Book You'll Ever Need and its a good read. I've only had it for a couple of days but i like the lay out and descriptions. It doesnt seem to go into details much though from what i've seen. I've jumped around the book alot, taking information i was searching for and then moving on but i will definitely give it a cover to cover read.
