| Medical Astrology Astrological diagnoses and other health issues are discussed here. Given that there are so many outer and inner influences on one's health (alimentation, sports, medication, past medical antecedents, state of mind, etc.), an astrological diagnosis is only one of many things to consider when determining your healthiness. |

Re: 4 years of misery
Oh by the way I do not collect stange animals like owls and pigs, only husbands. My love of dogs, especially German Shepards keep me happy. That was real cute and I am still giggling about the owls and pigs. Thank u for making me smile all day. Di

A transit of Pluto to the Ascendant marks one of the most transformative periods of a person’s life. The catalyst for change is invariably an intense emotional experience, and the agent is frequently, a new partner. As the result of this association, a person’s outlook on life undergoes a marked change. This association may become permanent or semi-permanent. In which case, the experience of sharing a life may, become responsible for further changes, as Pluto moves on into H1.

Re: 4 years of misery
From your present reports i can only suggest the furthest you could move the conjunction of Saturn and Mars would be to the descendant and no further into the 6th than this where the planets could partake of both houses.Otherwise i think you are correct that they show a lot of 7th house with your reports of abusive partners.

Re: 4 years of misery
Yes, I know what foods to stay away from. I have had 4 years of diary keeping to help me along. Do not eat much red meat or anthing that is loaded w/ fat. Fat is a big # 1 enemy to bring on pain.. Any thing white is the saying and this proves to be true. Cannot eat white potatoes, flour, sugar, any nightshade veg, citrus or desserts. I could go on about what to substitute but most already know. I started carrot juicing 2 weeks ago when I read it on this site and I am drinking 2/ 8 oz cups a day and I know it's too soon to tell but what has happened is I have this incredible energy and overall feeling of just feeling good . I am doing things again, out and about, not home in bed. I don't need to lay down every day . My pain has lessened. I am walking normal again. Just hope it lasts. I will let you know in about a month if the carrot juice is working and thanks for your advice. Di

Re: 4 years of misery
think it's the beta caratone in carrots, I take B complex tabs from Holland and Barrett called B100, I found my energy levels really increased, so I take them permanently.
also try large dose anti oxidents, if arthritis related Tart cherry (on ebay by swanson) but expensive if you buy liquid concentrate.

Re: 4 years of misery
Hi Astrologer 50, I know there is a high content of natural sugars in the juice so I have added other vegs such as celery, broccoli, parsley, spinach and all colorful vegs that are in season. The carrots are the main ingredient and I really believe it is working since trying so many things. One thing learned, take juice before 5pm otherwise I can't get to sleep. I want to be up doing housework, something I've been unable to do properly for 4 years. When we are in pain any advice is appreciated. Also noticed my nerves are better, more relaxed and just a good overall feeling. I realized yesterday I had not taken any nerve pills for 6 days. Just little things are happening, not wound up anymore. No more leg pain, walking good and of course my eyesite has improved, no blurriness.I will let u know in a month about other changes, if any and am in full appreciation of this wonderful site. Di

Re: 4 years of misery
Hi there
I too am an Aquarian . in 2004 was diagnosed with mystery illness called Fibromyalgia ! My life completely changed .. Pluto was conjunct Asc at the time and i had just endured yet another hit to the head from my abusive husband [ Saturn conjunct Mars in 4th natally ] . In 2007 / 08 I lost my beautiful 4 bedroomed home and had to move into a grotty two bedroomed place with six people, got rid of the husband and had the hardest few years . He had left me in debt from the previous house and where I was legally working and he was working on the side [ earning over £500 a week ] I was left to pay the lot whilst he swanned around in new cars and expensive clothes . I am still soldiering on .
You are not alone but whilst we know that astrology is watching the clock tick by for happier times I wish sometimes I was aboard the Enterprise and doing warp speed into the future

Re: 4 years of misery
My problems slowly drifted in since 2004 when Uranus in Pisces changed houses and signs plus Saturn came along in Cancer which led to several close deaths, loss of earnings. Pluto on my ascendent has been here as well. As Astrologer 50 wrote Pluto hits every area of my life, which it is doing. I know what u are going thru because Uranus rules strange, mysterious and sudden from what I can see, and my RA just came without warning one morning. I have several Aquarius friends and 4 of them have been diagnosed w/ Fibro or RA. It is a terrible debilitating disease, this arthritis, and wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. I will pray for you and all the people that are in pain from this crippling situation. I live in Chatham, Ontario ,Canada but I'm sure our prayers can be heard all over the world. The very best to you and hope the time will pass quickly to get into better times for you and myself. Thank u, Di

I haven't heard of many positive threads regarding T Pluto conj Asc, in approx 12 years time it's going to be my turn...... you could always use our search feature to research more members experiences on this transit...

Re: 4 years of misery
do you know what I have thought of collecting owls recently!
(my 6th house is empty natally). but who would dust them.
sorry to hear of your health concerns, i see you try alternative diets. have you tried complementary therapies such as healing or crystal healing?
Im an aqua sun and have dealt with a fair bit of grief too, it can unground you and yes while it appears for society to be good to be 'strong' you need to let emotions out and not take other people's stuff on.
there are a lot of centres in uk that do this for donations. it may help you.
good luck

Re: 4 years of misery
Hi Caro, everything in Canada costs. I have been looking for the crystal healers but cannot find any credible ones in this area. I will look in Windsor next. Yes I do have a problem letting emotions show, not because I'm cold for Aquas are the most sensitive people I know. Di

Re: 4 years of misery
re aqua's I agree. people really misunderstand us.
keep looking and hopefully you will find something.
Im sure you are doing the legendary cod liver oil?
just my thoughts re raw veg - I see a chinese herbalist and I boil my veg(not to death!) but this suits my energy better. raw veg is hard to digest. There is so much conflicting dietary advice it can become confusing. (My the way I dont have arthritus but allergy problems)
look after yourself and all the best

Re: 4 years of misery
As I had told one of the other female members here
recently with cervical cancer, it would be far better for
her to check out cutting-edge treatments, both conventional
and alternavtive, for her condition.
Medical astrology can give you guidelines to point towards
your condition, but will not do anything to change the course
of the disease.
Unfortunately, she insisted on knowing the likely astrological
outcome of her disease, and seemed not to be interested in
the supplement/herb/drug links, backed by clear-cut scientific
research, for her cancer.
You may wish to take part in this forum which I have been doing
so for the past several years. This is the world's leading forum
where members, most of whom are life extensionists, contribute
their knowledge on cutting-edge alternative and conventional
treatments for diseases of all kinds, as well as the slowing down
of aging.
It was originally called the Immortality Institute.
http://www.longecity.org/forum/forum...cine-diseases/
http://www.longecity.org/forum/forum/6-supplements/
http://www.longecity.org/forum/forum/312-resveratrol/
Much of the research on which the members of this forum
quote to back up their posts are from Medline, the National
Institute of Health's powerful medical database.
The long-standing cancer thread is here :
http://www.longecity.org/forum/topic...cer-knowledge/
Rheumatoid arthritis is largely a TNF-alpha (tumor necrosis
factor alpha) activated disease, the same inflammatory cytokine
which your immune system's macrophages secrete to fight bacteria
and cancer, along with two others - IL-1 (interleukin 1) and IL-6
(interleukin 6).
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tumor_n...s_factor-alpha
Thus drugs, herbs and supplements which inhibit the production
of these inflammatory substances will suppress RA.
Resveratrol, which is a "hot" supplement amongst life extensionists
and can be found in any health food store, is one of them.
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/q..._uids=17115116
Another is the green tea polyphenol, EGCG.
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/q..._uids=21345249
Olive leaf extract, the source of oleuropein and hydroxytyrosol
(which are powerful HIV fusion and integrase inhibitors).
Quercetin, again found at any health food store.

Re: 4 years of misery
Caro, The secret to getting the best out of your carrots is to soften them by boiling just enough (almost like blanching) to increase your beta carotene and to supply a greater percentage of vitamins and minerals, this of course is for juicing as well as raw, or so I have read. Di

just copy/paste from address line in internet explorer. put the cursor in top line, press control (bottom left button) and C (that's copy) then put the cursor in reply to post, and press control and V (that's paste)

actually, no Equal house is in the minority here on AW, it's just my personal preference.
I use Equal House system (where each cusp is same as Ascendant) and am a modern astrologer. Lots of newcomers come into Astrology/forums and get a free chart from www.astro.com and the default ‘house system’ used is Placidus and think that’s just the norm and all there is……..BUT that is just the tip of the iceberg. You can change the default on astro.com in Extended Chart selection to Equal house and a few others if you wish to experiment…..
