Re: new graphs at astrodienst

These are straight out of Astrolog

In the upper left corner graph, by sign dispositor... Mercury and Venus point to the Sun because they are in Leo... Because they are in Leo, ruled by the Sun, they have a link by dispositorship to the Sun.

Moon, Mercury, and Mars, in the top right graph (by house dispositor), point to the Sun because they are in the 5th house, the house of the Sun.

It might help make clearer, onelove, if you could post the chart these came from...

It's just a graphical way of expressing the dispositorships of a chart, seems like it'd be sort of useless, but these graphics are a much easier way to visualizing power distribution in a chart, and let you see patterns of energy flow you might not notice otherwise, or spend more effort trying to figure out.

If you use Astrolog/Astrolog32, you can get to these by pressing Shift+J, which brings up the text showing object powers, etc etc... the hit v from that screen, and these charts pop up. From there, Alt+L will get you back to the aspects list, and then v again will get you back to the main chart.

Re: new graphs at astrodienst

dispositors for yoi.

unukulhai already described dispositorships. it's about what rules what. read these charts like flow charts or org charts. just a tool to visualize dispositor relationships.

new charts.

natal chart: http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p...arleynatal.gif

dispositor graph:

sign dispositor hierarchy

we see uranus and venus are at the top of the chain in mutual reception

rest of chain is easier to explain if i start at bottom of hierarchy chart
  • neptune in natal chart is found in libra, which is ruled by venus. there's an arrow from neptune to venus.
  • we find venus in aries, which is ruled by mars. arrow from venus to mars.
  • we find mars in capricorn, ruled by saturn. arrow mars to saturn.
  • saturn in cancer, ruled by moon. arrow saturn to moon.
  • and so on until we come to top with uranus and venus in mutual reception, notated with 2 way arrows between the planets, which are circled in the dispositor graph.
house dispositor hierarchy

similar except it goes by natural house rulers.
  • sun in natal chart found in house 3, natually ruled by gem/mercury. arrow from sun to mercury.
  • uranus in house 6, naturally ruled by virgo/mercury. arrow from uranus to mercury.
  • mercury is found in house 2, naturally ruled by taurus/venus. arrow from merc to venus.
  • venus in h4, naturally ruled by cancer/moon. arrow venus to moon.
  • pluto in h8. accidental dignity. no arrows since it pluto rules that house.
  • and so on for the rest of the chart.
sign dispositor wheel

same info as sign hierarchy graph, just not in hierarchichal from.

house dispositor wheel

same info as house hierarchy graph, just not in hierarchichal from.

Re: new graphs at astrodienst

Great post, Onelove.

And also, a great chart to pick. I've never seen Marley's chart before. It's interesting to see a Saturn=Venus/Neptune T-square, one of the most talented musicians I know has this T-square, with Mars conjunct Saturn at the apex, and also has a string of dispositorship towards the Moon, like Marley.

I will have to let him know he shares some interesting placements with Marley, I bet he'll get a kick out of that!

Pardon the digression... hehe.

Talking Re: new graphs at astrodienst

How do I find out which is the dominant planet in my chart? Does astro.com have a tool for this, or is this something you can work out by looking at it?

(is a novice)

Cheers!
