Will I go to London? (Known Outcome)
In light of a discussion had on the forum a few weeks ago, I thought it might be interesting to post a funky chart for which the outcome is known.
My boyfriend was "okay'ed" to study abroad for one month over the summer of 2010. He wanted me to come with him, especially for London, as he had been there before and wanted to show me everything he saw when he went. This prompted the question, “Will I go to London?”
The Hour Ruler set for the location is the Moon; the Moon also rules the Cancer AC.
(I took L9 as signifying the trip to London).
Off the bat, I noticed that the Moon (L1/Me) is via combust and Jupiter (L9/the “going to London”) is combust 3*30’ applying to a conjunction with the Sun. Is the Moon saying, “You can’t expect to make a solid judgment; things are much too chaotic and you are distressed” at the same time that combusted Jupiter warns that the trip to London “cannot be seen” or “is overpowered”? Does Moon Via Combust suggest I should forget the chart all together?
Sun combusting Jupiter is my L2- does the obscured trip have anything to do with money?
If I keep prying, things don’t look promising. The South Node conjuncts the 1st. Mars is retrograde in my 1st. The South Node could be another testament to ill-fated or uncontrollable circumstances influencing me. Mars, an action planet, is retrograde: he cannot currently act in my favor. Both Moon and Jupiter are connected to Mars: he rules their triplicity, the sign and face of the Moon, as well as the term and face of Jupiter. Does his righted motion in six days time bear any news?
What is weird is that there is an aspect between L1 and L9. The Moon in 9*29’ Scorpio is in applying trine to Jupiter in 10*47’ Pisces. Jupiter has rulership, term and face and is in its natural house, albeit combusted. The Moon is in fall.
May we also consider that my boyfriend, L7 Saturn in 2*36’ Libra retrograding back into his turned 9th. Daytime Saturn is exalted with triplicity and term. A lot of dignity and conjoined an angle, but being retrograde and about to go back into Virgo, he can do very little to help.
Unless we can consider any significance in that the Sun will leave the orb of combustion, the Moon being in the last 6* of Via Combust, and Mars soon turning direct, along with the aspect of Moon and Jupiter, this chart does not seem promising.
What do you suppose happened?
