Good evening everyone!
It is a pleasure to rediscover this site.
Evidently I joined this community in 2008, lol...maybe at the time I was to shy for forums, but alot has happened since then to say the least.
I grew up with astrology, my Mom always talked about Sun Signs, and I remember reading Linda Goodman's "Sun Signs" and "Love Signs" when I was 8 years old.
Mom met and married a professional astrologer when I was 12 years old. (Hmmm. Mom's energy attracted him???)
Astrology terminology was a second language in our house, tho I never really studied it.
This was before the computer era....stepdad's charts were "handmade". lol
Always looked like way too much math for me...lol.
I lost interest in astrology when I was 18 years old...I felt like it influenced me in a negative aspect, tho now I think I was to immature to understand the concept , it is a tool to understanding yourself, and to become the best that your are. We do have freewill !
Recently I have had a renewed interest in the last three years, beginning during my transit "Pluto conjunct Venus" in fact. Tho I wouldn't want to travel thru that transit again , I am excited to learn more !
Stats: Aquarius Sun,Gemini Moon, Libra rising....triple "Air"...love the ocean!! Great air

Yes, Mom could be fun! "Leo Sun, Libra Moon, Sagittarius rising."
Tho our Sun Signs tend to rub each other the wrong way to this day

In retrospect I wish I had paid more attention, and learned more about astrology. The basics have always been a part of me tho!
I talk to alot of people on the phone at work....triage (medical field)...I find myself trying to guess people's Sun Sign before I know what thier birthday is..(yes I get bored easily

) The majority of the time I get it right..or at least they are in the same "element".
Sun in Cancer, Moon in Capricorn,Virgo ascendant ....
guessing you are a very intelligent person....and possibly most people do not know how emotional you really are

You have lost nothing. As long as you are here, in this world, you can continue your studies on Astrology and everything you want to.

Of course, nowadays is kind of difficult, because most of us can't afford to make their hobby their carrier. Or at least, in my country is like that. But yeah, we have plenty of time if we want to do things. And I wish they were just positive things.
And yeah, you are right about me, Star

You can't imagine how much, but ... I am handeling the situation. The good thing is that I am finally really making things right ... and a large part of my knowledge for myself and the alternatives which are before me as individual I understood thanks to astrology.

You are right , in fact I have started studying again ...starting with reviewing the basics of astrology!
I am so glad you are "making things right" with the help of astrology!
The world needs your "Water"....ironically , to stay "grounded".....like your "Earth"

My name is Tammy..Hebrew for "Palm Tree"..
Lived in the Midwest of USA for 23 years....and moved to the coast 20 years ago.....to be close to the "Palm Trees"

Well, my parents really choose it uncorrectly.

Mine originallycomes from Hebrew language, too and it means " obedient" which I don't like very much as meaning.

So how's living in the USA? I live in Europe, tha Balkans, I don't intend to move like a lot of people here, who want to work in the west ...

I think the meaning of "obedient" has a positive aspect , meaning, obedient to your beliefs, and yourself ...allowing you to become the best that you can be

I have always wanted to visit Europe.....so different then the USA from what I have been told. Are you coastal or inland? I can only imagine your "Cancer" would prefer the coast..tho your Virgo and Capricorn would be cozy inland

I feel like a "cornball" saying "I am proud to be an American" ,but I really am. Despite the politics...which as a triple "Air" you would think I would be interested in, I am so totally NOT , lol.... I wouldn't want to live anywhere else.
Diverse cultures,lifestyles,climates,oceans, mountains,flatlands,desert etc...make for a wonderful country to live in as well as explore

I prefer living by the ocean....Makes me feel closer to God
