I think whenever the moon is discordantly aspecting the angles, it can mean that the relationship with the mother brought you to value and have a real inrerest and interaction with society/public standing/career/personal pesentation and image...but maybe the relationship and the model she provided was not that helpful for your individual expression in these areas. So, you won't be a wallflower or unbearably introverted (and in fact, you will probably find yourself in the midst of many various interations with others), but you may find yourself rubbing up against the cultural norms in your "public" enviornments. Maybe you are a little eccentric and don't even realise it, or you find you have to make a lot of small adjustments in order to fit in.....

Yes, I have this aspect. I have often wondered if my awkard feelings when out in public are due to my moon in the 10th house - maybe it's just too exposed here? Or is it because my Moon is square my ascendant. Or maybe both?

I kind of feel like the unconscious receptive and scanning features are on when I'm in public. I'm picking up stuff, but not really in any grounded or cognitive/logical way. I definitely feel vulnerable and exposed also. Can get quite anxious.

How does it feel for you? Do you have that awkwardness also? Is your moon in the 10th, or 4th?

Really interesting! My son has this too.... moon in 10th, squared his ascendant.

He's generally very loving and 'soft' with public... strangers and the like... though he's still young so I cant say how this will develop as years go on

Yes, I was probably loving and soft with the public once too

Eaten one too many times perhaps. Hence the vulnerable feelings now.
