Exclamation A Few Questions I Could Use Answered

Usually I don't like giving away my chart because
1) I feel lazy, like if I want a question answered I should be trying harder to learn how to read birth charts
2) I feel violated
3) I find that people often tell me not to worry about my questions because my chart has just revealed my age and now I am too young to have a care in the world.

But there are a few questions that are important to me and I would love answered, so if you could that for me, that'd be great!

1) I'm thinking of becoming a book editor (fictional novels, to be exact), and I was wondering if there would be an obstacle keeping me from that. Whenever I find something that I love and want to make a career, I find something that stops me from achieving that.

2) Is there anything that hints at why nobody likes me or finds me interesting? It's not an approach question because I am approached all the time, but people just get bored of me quickly.

3) Is there anything that hints that I have a superiority complex? I've noticed this in myself (no one else has, though) and I was wondering if I developed it due to me having a critical eye and seeing the flaws in others, or because I naturally had one from the start.

4) This question I do not know if it can be answered by astrology, but I know health questions can be, and this ties to health; my adrenaline is easily stirred. In a simple argument with somebody my heart beat will pick up at an abnormally high rate and my stomach will feel sick. If I'm daydreaming something violent, I will get an adrenaline rush, too. It's not a good feeling (I hate adrenaline rushes, especially since the adrenaline hurts my muscles), and want to know why the adrenaline is easily triggered and how to keep calm when it is.

Thank you.

Saturn on the MC appears to cause delays in achieving career/vocational success. It may take longer than you'd like to get there.

Saturn is the ruler of your 7th house, and in fall. Venus rules the 11th and is dignified, and is the almuten of your chart. Hmm. Both are in the 9th. Perhaps your interest in 9th house matters proves too esoteric and therefore boring to your friends. Perhaps changing your social circles to include more 9th friendly folks will help?

Otherwise, I'm not sure.

Angular Sun, perhaps.

Adrenals are usually considered to be the domain of Mars. A retrograde Mars might indicate (and this is utterly speculative on my part) that somehow the energy stirred is directed inwards. That energy is for outward action, fight or flight. Maybe there's a clue there.

Tropical gives no dignity to Mars in Virgo. Sidereal puts your Mars in Leo.

Stomach is the Moon, and I see your Moon is troubled, having no dignity and afflicting squares from Uranus and Neptune.

I find that unpleasant bodily experiences are best dealt with when noticed and then simply letting whatever it is pass with a sense of knowing it will pass, and acceptance. Sounds odd, but it works for me. I recommend a meditation practice for all kinds of ills.

Re: A Few Questions I Could Use Answered

RR, I just noticed that you give your birth time as 12:00 noon, which is usually a default birth time for people who don't know what time they were born. Is this so in your case? The houses could be totally wrong, if so; and the moon could vary 6 degrees either way (which could actually move it back into Libra.) If you cannot get a correct birth time, it is better to input the time as "unknown", which will give you a chart without houses. Of course, some people are born at noon, so I will read your chart as though it were correct.

I think you could do well as an editor. You have Mercury (books, communication, thought) in your 10th house of career in mutual reception with Mars in the third house of communication. Saturn on your MC in the 10th appears to be well-aspected. It's fault-finding procilivities can actually be helpful for editing, provided its harshness can be modified. This shouldn't be such a problem for you with your sun conjunct Venus in the 9th house, which rules publications "of enduring value."

Your Mercury looks a bit challenged, so you might find a Mercurial career a bit more stressful than you imagined, once you get into it. If that square from Neptune spurs you to do your best work, however, that would be a good use of this aspect.

In terms of relationships, I think we have to look at your loaded 7th house square moon-Chiron as well as Mars-retrograde. The 7th usually relates to permanent one-on-one relationships such as marriage; but it can indicate other sorts of twosomes, such as a best friend or business partner. With moon-Chiron, it would appear that you expect your feelings to be hurt. Maybe once a friendship advances to a certain point, you actually anticipate it going sour, and may even unconsciously (moon) do things to bring it about.

With Mars retrograde, all of your natural assertiveness and aggression tends to get turned inward upon yourself. So the best advice would be to try not to critique or "edit" yourself so much. God doesn't make mistakes (or the Universe, if you are an atheist.) There is nothing the matter with you other than believing that you have a problem.

Mars rules the adrenal gland. Of course, if you are suffering from painful physical effects, your doctor should advise you. Otherwise, seeing if you can better make friends with Mars in your life could help.

The 4th house can be a house of early childhood conditioning. Possibly your mother (moon) didn't help boost your self-confidence when you were a little kid; maybe because she felt wounded (Chiron) herself. Anything you can do to strengthen your Mars nature should be helpful: some athletic activity, wearing more red (the colour of Mars, no fooling!) or simply challenging your comfort zone on a daily basis. This should help give you more self-confidence.

A "superiority complex" and an "inferiority complex" are often just two sides of the same coin. Either one suggests that you feel somehow different from other people. Is there are chance that this merely relates to the people you know now? Later on in life when you branch out, you will have a better chance to befriend people whose personal interests and personalities are a better fit with your own. This isn't to say, "Don't worry about anything now," but rather that you growth process will inevitably expose you to new and different people and experiences. (Hopefully you are college-bound!)

Assuming your sun-Venus are in the 9th house, it rules both overseas travel and higher education (as well as publication) so hopefully you can partake of both.

Re: A Few Questions I Could Use Answered

Questions in reverse order:

#4 Health is a first house issue. The Moon rules your first house. With respect to your horoscope, the Moon is well placed so your general health in life should be good. Jupiter rules the 6th house. It is in sect and does not present any kind of health issue. However, back to the Moon. In the zodiac, it is in fallen and in via combusta . Thus you want to eat cooling foods and herbs. Avoid foods related to Mars such as mustard, pepper, hot peppers, curry, horseradish and other hot tasting foods. This will gradually reduce your temperament and adrenaline issues.

#3 You do have 4 planets culminating around the MC and ruled by Mars. However, what I wrote about Mars in the first paragraph also applies to this.

#2 Your 11th house of friends is ruled by Venus. Venus near the MC is well placed in the horoscope and is supposed to be very helpful for attracting friends, and in the course of life you should find some. However, Venus is out of sect, in detriment and combust so at times your friends may not be helpful or even abandon you. It is a matter of timing, but I cannot do such predictions for you here. It takes some time to look at progressions and such things.

#1 With Mercury in the 10th house there should be no problem getting into any literary field. Many planets at MC shows you supervising other peoples works. Mars in Virgo and the third house is the 10th house ruler very helpful for this. However, you are just beginning. You will need to have an appropriate university major for qualifications for this field and to find a position with a publisher. Jupiter rules the 9th and Mercury rules the 3rd houses of education. They are well placed so you should not have difficulties with studies.

Mm, it takes me longer to reach every goal I make.

How can I tell if people are more "9th friendly"?

My Mars is in retrogarde? I never noticed that, and I've looked at my chart a thousand times.

Ha, I've been thinking of making my signiture say "Yes, I was born precisely at 12:00 PM. On the dot." for a while now . You just pushed me to do it. People always ask me if that's my correct birthtime.
It is

That's good. I originally wanted to become a novelist myself, but I don't have the talent for it, so I decided I wanted a job as close to writing as I could get.

The only issue I can see myself having with editing is my lack of consistency and dedication to stick to one project faithfully.

I could, I suppose. I do expect things to go sour, after all. I'm pretty blunt with my friends once we get to a certain point in the relationship. I say exactly what's on my mind. I once predicted when my friendship with this certain person would end, and told her the time. I was one month off.

Titally spot on with the Moon representing my mother. She is not one to care for my successes, perferring to criticize my downfalls instead. It doesn't really hurt me much, though. Maybe because (and this is in no way meant to sound sad) growing up, I was never cherished by anybody (not that I can remember, anyway: I may have been cherished as an infant, before my memory became), so I think I've always been accustomed to not being recognized for my virtues.

As for pushing my comfort zone...No. I am extremely uncomfortable and irritated when I am in the unfamiliar. It's always been something I wish my sun sign played a bigger part in. I wish I was more comfortable in open situations like Aries.

What? But I love spicey foods! The hotter, the better! The only spice that I've ever disliked was habenero (I think taht's how you spell it). I ahd it when I was eleven and I teard up a bit. But I'm looking forward to trying it now! I hope to some day be able to consume some of the world's hottest spices and peppers without crying!

Attracting them is easy. Keeping them, not so much. My average friendships last about two - four weeks. Excluding elementry, I've only ever had one friend in my whole life. Our friendship lasted about two or three months and we were pretty close. However, she turned out to be a ******* up in the head, manipulative, pathological liar.
