How should I proceed with him?

I need help because I’m really confused about this new relationship. I’ve tried reading the charts myself but I don’t think I’m objective enough to get real answers. The reason I’m insecure is because he makes me confused: one day he’s interested, one day he isn’t (yes, it’s one of those stories again).

I would really appreciate some help... is there any potential for a long-term relationship?

I’m attaching my chart (I'm the libra), his chart (he's the sagittarius), the synastry and composite. If there’s anything else needed, let me know.

First of all, his Natal Uranus squares his Natal Venus in Aquarius. Combined with a Sag Sun and Mars, he's probably going to be rather inconstant in his love life.

Then, his Uranus is conjunct your Pluto and Venus, and square your Moon. I would research these aspects in detail and decide if this is the type of relationship you want.

Yes, this is true, he's had his share of inconstancy. I'm well aware of this. His Venus in Aquarius might point to unusual relationships and combined with a descendant in Pisces, he might have a problem defining some boundaries in relationships. These things can be seen in our relationship as well: he's older than me (age gap of 13 years, perhaps the Venus-Saturn square also pointing at this) and I used to be his student (he was an assistant not a professor).

I'm willing to give it a chance... I want to see if there is any potential for this relationship to grow so I could focus on that while aware of the problems that might surface.

wow this is a difficult composite to analysis.
on one had there is a very favorable sextile pattern of venus/neptune sextile to pluto/saturn/juno.this gives a relationship that is stable ,sensitive,supportive and loving .this is a very good emotional basis to start with.
then the eros/psyche midpoint is conjunct the sun/mercury and mercury/mars midpoints.this gives a spontaneous attraction but it can be fleeting . the sun/mars conjunction is semisquare to venus showing that the attraction has a strong physical correlation and is not just mental/spiritual.
the difficulty comes from the venus/uranus midpoint opposed to jupiter and square to the moon.this increased the physical/emotional intensity but makes the relationship unstable.

this composite shows a almost spiritual attraction at the same time it has a very sexual/physical attraction.
the spiritual attraction of the sextile pattern with juno tends toward marriage but the venus/uranus/jupiter/moon pattern is much more physical/sexual and tends toward instabilty and emotional insensitivity and breakup.

i think he is confused.like most men he likely functions on the sexual/visual plane,and this composite is sexually hot.but then the venus/neptune sextile of sensivity of love and commitment kicks in and he is confused.he wants to experience you as a sexual conquest but the nature of the composite shows a deep love and compassion.

with the mars/uranus midpoint conjunct mercury,i think his need of independence and freedom will lead him to end the relationship.but as i said this is a difficult composite to interpret.

i think this relationship formed recently maybe early march, and was intense til the beginning of april. i assume you are asking now because he has seemed to flaked out on you.

all i can suggest is that you focus on the emotional.spiritual connection you shared.if this is meant to be he will respond.

You are right about the attraction, it is intense... or better said, it was intense. And I felt there was a mental/spiritual connection as well. The relationship started just as you said and all was going well until mid April when something happened, he cooled off. He is very confusing.
I find it interesting that the composite sun is conjunct my venus, while the composite venus is conjunct his sun, but maybe I'm looking too much into these charts.
I'm trying to follow your advice and hopefully something will change for the better.
