Asking about the fate of the lost dogs is a horary question, which means that you set up (on astro.com) a chart for the time and place when you ask (or think of) the question; then that chart is delineated (by various horary approaches) to try and obtain an answer to the specific question.
Natal charts can't be interpreted regarding specific horary questions.
